Dear President Obama and Secretary Clinton, Just as President Bill Clinton set a shining example of leadership by protecting the truly helpless in Bosnia, please use your influence to stop the ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya minority in Burma (condoned by Burmese President Thein Sein). Thank you. The Rohingyas of Burma are facing a brutal double assault by the Burmese government and Buddhist majority. Over the past months, scores of innocent Rohingya have been killed by the military as well as Buddhist monks. The ones that flee their homes to save their lives have nowhere to go! Influential Burmese people are inciting hatred against this ethnic minority through social media.

Get 100 people creditable people to vote on the issues that the candidates state as truth. Get the public to vote for and against people on the panel to get rid of the far right and far left people.

The petition that i am starting is somewhat like the Sex Offender Registry, but for domestic violence. Through the years i have seen many battered women even wives and children dying by the hands of their love ones. Not to be one sided women included, if one lives to get away i think the next person should be notified of the danger they are getting involved in because many people are ashamed to tell what was going on that's why we would have this registry. Dismantling the Electoral College! Until we get rid of this organization, our voices will never really be heard!

I am outraged, disgusted and angered by the amount of money spent on elections, at every level, money that could be used to solve real problems, like homelessness, education, etc. Since I had to choose one state, I am hoping that voters in the other states will start their own petitions to put an end to money in politics and time spent on fundraising instead of actually working on issues.

Russian authorities have arrested members of feminist punk band "Pussy Riot" for demonstrating inside Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Moscow. These young women were simply performing a song which called for Vladimir Putin's resignation. According to Russian authorities, the women have been accused of "hooligan-ing," and the state prosecutor is threatening to sentence them to three years behind bars. However, we all know that this is a mere attempt to censor free speech and suppress Putin's dissidents. Join us in telling Mr. Putin that his detainment and prosecution of these women is unlawful, inhumane, and violates both human and civil rights. These women were simply exercising their freedom of speech, and must be set free!

My husband worked and paid taxes for more than 20 yrs. He was let go about a year ago and still trying to find a job right now. His unemployment benefit was cut from 64 weeks to 32 weeks. He paid unemployment benefit for more than 20 yrs but they only give back 32 weeks back to him.

Religious organizations are now big business and are attempting to force their views upon the nation with political pressure. These organizations, along with other non-profits like the chamber of commerce, would have the right to freedom of speech just like I do if they are a citizen. Take away their tax exempt status and make citizens out of them.

Stop our Representatives from getting their hands on money that is originally for the people from cashing in on what is meant for the people. When a Representative find monies that is meant for all the people, they need to plan a budget around who are to receive the monies and give people a chance to apply for it before they tell people who are their friends and family. We have so many people stealing from the top that we don't have anything trickling down to the people that really need it.

If a consumer comes to court without an attorney, he or she is directed to the public defenders' office by the courts as an option to be represented. However, what is not explain to the consumer by staff of the Public defenders' office that, If the consumer changes options to seeing a public defender than obtain an attorney. But has already singed in at the window, the consumer must pay a fifty dollar fee, for "only"signing the sheet to see a public defender. The Public Defenders' fee at the window is an unfair charge imposed on the consumer. I ask that fees are suspended, if the consumer's decision changes with regards to seeing a public defender.
