This Petition is Written for US (The American People) , to abolish ANY and ALL State Laws in Pennsylvania, as well as ALL other 49 States that are prohibiting US(The American People) in FREELY FEEDING AND SERVICING ANY AND ALL PEOPLE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITIES Who need assistance. I have personally been affected by the issue above through having dealt with being homeless for the past 11 months myslef. Having to experience struggling to make a way and feed my children has shown me first hand how these laws only hinder our people from helping those who need help. There are plenty of people that would help other people out but tend to shy away due to the laws and regulations set in place within there own communities. This only keeps our people oppressed and crime and poverty high.

I am a plasma doner who not only helps those who need it but I get help by getting paid to donate. It has helped me afford my perscriptions, food, gas, and pay bills when I have been short on cash.

My petition is about reaching voters, mainly senior voters. Ads are on TV and the internet, etc. attempting to explain issues to voters in the upcoming 2012 Presidential election. But I have failed to see ads in NEWSPAPERS across the nation, explaining, simply, and precisely the differences in the political/social issues of the Democratic Party and Republican Party. This petition is directed towards ACTION by the Democratic Party, which in my opinion, needs to get their message across in the most broad, simple, and understandable language....to those seniors and other "independent" and "undecided" voters.....that for whatever reason...still may be confused on the issues between the two poliical parties.

As a school social worker, I have seen the devastating effects of poverty on children's emotional development and academic achievement (poverty threshold for family of four: $22,314). Children born into poverty in the United States are 43% more likely than their peers from higher income families to live in poverty as adults. Poverty lowers the probability of these children becoming productive citizens and cheating our nation of future innovative and dynamic leaders.

Currently, most states employ a "winner-take-all" approach to the electoral college, so that if a presidential candidate gets the majority of the votes in a state, he or she receives all of the electoral votes for that state. As a result, candidates tend to focus only on swing states in campaigns.
