  • Coalition of African American Pastors must stop dividing the Black Community
    Instead of uniting the Black Community to fight against Voter ID/Suppression laws, drugs, violent crimes, lack of education, high unemployment and the disproportionate number of Black men in the prison system, the Coalition of African American Pastors (CAAP) is rallying for 100,000 signatures on a petition to stand against President Obama in this election because of his personal views on marriage equality. We must stop allowing our community to be divided over our diversity, and focus on those things that make us the same. Equality has never hurt anyone, it only makes us stronger.

  • PASS THE OBAMA JOBS BILLS
    Republicans have willfully and deliberately obstructed the passage of all of the Obama jobs bills that would immediately put millions back to work. They have done this against the interests of the people who overwhelmingly want this passed. Republicans are interested in power and not interested in the will of the people. If they continue to block these bills you have recourse in voting them out of office. They are aware of your power with the vote which is why they are working overtime to create voter suppression laws state by state which will take away your democratic rights to vote them out.

    It is abundantly clear and not worthy of debate anymore that FOX news is not a true News organization - although they occasionally do report real news this is a cover used to make the propaganda they spew hide among the news - we must stop treating them with the respect a news organization deserves - Democrats stop going on FOX - call it what it is - a propaganda channel.

  • Save Our Local Businesses
    Everywhere I look in my upscale Manhattan neighborhood I see the blight of empty storefronts. Small businesses constantly fail, sometimes businesses that have been in the same location for years, because there is no regulation of commercial rent. I am saddened by the loss of businesses I have patronized and business owners who have been my neighbors over the years.

    To the PA Voter ID Law! This law discriminates against the poor and the displaced! Stop hurting people who are already hurting! Pennsylvania's Secretary of the Commonwealth Carole Aichele is in charge of the state's new voter ID law and she just admitted, "I don't know what the law says." Another local official testified in court that she was "anticipating a mess" on Election Day because of the new law.

  • Obama Administration: Enforce College Voter Registration Law
    A federal law requires colleges to email all their students instructions on how to register to vote, but it is not enforced or followed. College students, because they move so often, are often denied their right to vote because they didn't know they had to register at their current address before the early October deadline. Help us tell the Obama Administration to enforce this law so college students know how to register to vote before the deadline.

    Due to errors made by the Maine justice system with regard to an illegal co-adoption, Eve's son Evan has been taken away from her illegally and unjustly. Please sign the petition made by concerned citizens who wish for the Maine Judicial System to admit their error, and for Evan to be rescued and safely reunited with Eve, his legal adoptive parent.
