A federal law requires colleges to email all their students instructions on how to register to vote, but it is not enforced or followed. College students, because they move so often, are often denied their right to vote because they didn't know they had to register at their current address before the early October deadline. Help us tell the Obama Administration to enforce this law so college students know how to register to vote before the deadline.

Petition the President of the United State to make all schools equal and the arts included in all curriculums. Not only wealthy communities should have Arts and Foreign langauage. Lets make it a law for all Public schools.

Due to errors made by the Maine justice system with regard to an illegal co-adoption, Eve's son Evan has been taken away from her illegally and unjustly. Our post offices are being sold! The purpose of the US Postal Service, enshrined in our Constitution, is to provide a public service. A misguided Congress, in 1971, passed the Postal Reorganization Act to require the Postal Service to make a profit. Now Congress's 2006 Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act is driving the USPS into bankruptcy, requiring it to pay $5.5 billion a year for employee benefits 75 years into the future, and then putting the downtown post offices' prime real estate up for sale to corporate investors. Our post offices anchor the centers of towns across the country and provide Americans, both individuals and businesses, with convenient, efficient, affordable mailing services. Our government once honored its citizen taxpayers by building handsome public buildings for our use. It's time to halt Congress's outrageous attack on the US Postal Service and sale of public buildings that our tax dollars built and that belong to the people of the USA.

Governor Parnell proposes a 220-mile road from the Dalton Highway to the Ambler Mining District through the southern Brooks Range so that foreign companies may extract Alaska's resources. As of July 2012, the road to Ambler has received $9.25 million from the state Capital Budget since 2010 to study the route options. The road itself would cost at least $430 million to build and $8.5 million a year to maintain. Private corporations should gamble with their own money, not the state's.
