Absolute Federal Term LimitWe have a paralyzed government full of career politicians more interested in fund raisers from lobbyists and rich friends than in their constituents. Their bickering has given Congress the lowest approval rating in history. I'm calling for a Constitutional Amendment for an absolute term limit for all federal offices. There will be no reelection "war chests" nor seniority over competency in committee position appointments. They'll all have exactly ONE chance to make a real difference.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Martha Chase

Fair Taxation for Active Military MembersConcerning the recent hoopla over tax breaks for U.S. Olympic medal winners,I don't agree with this logic and don't think it's fair... Why would I have this logic? I think we should give tax breaks with a less tax rate (say like 15% or less for military families)...if it's good for the very rich to pay very little in taxes(15%),why not soldiers and sailors actively serving and fighting for our country? Many in the military are actually having a hard time making ends meet,as well as coming home traumatized and alienated due to money issues. Why not give the true heroes, who are not "commercialized"(except by war profiteers) a tax break? Even the Military Industrial Complex uses the military personnel for "profit"...It's time our military get back their fair share of the profits through a change at lowering the tax rates for these defenders of our feedoms. What do you think?1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Wayne Oncale

Minimum wage for Congress!I received a post on Facebook that said "Pay congress minimum wage and see how quick things change". Sounds like a good idea and it will save some tax payer money. More than half of them are millionaires anyway and have the best health benefits and retirement package of any public sector employee.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robert Kelley

Outlaw Super PacsIt is time for voters to not be taken in by Super Pacs. We must stop influential groups from trying to buy our elections. This means protecting voter rights at all cost, and stopping filthy rich companies, governments, and other groups from trying to take the country over, and make it in their own image and likeness. Our country is about the people and their freedom to vote for who they choose without fighting the money interests that tend to leave them out of who wins and who loses.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by P. Justice for WillieIn 2006, our son Willie Rogers, at the age of 19, was wrongfully accused and sentenced to 12 years in one of Ohio's prisons. Willie was a good kid, no criminal record, always worked, and was in college. His accusers are out of prisons, enjoying their life. Willie is still in prison as of this date August 7, 2012. His family started an organization called "Partners With Justice."152 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Diane Rogers

Allow backyard chickens in Joliet, ILThe City of Joliet is trying to force us to get rid our three backyard hens. A small flock of hens will produce eggs to feed a family, but they are pets and should not be classified by zoning ordinances as "farm animals."2,506 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Caroline Nelson
