We, as Americans, need to see the Certain Changes in the Law in Regards to Each Individual to Be Protected from the Unpredictable Actions of some Owners of the Guns. The Polices in the Gun Stores Supposed to be Much More Strict in Order to Do Not Give Possibility to Sell Guns to Every Person, but to the Employees of the Enforcing Agencies and the Police. Any Legal Resident Can Have the other specially designed unit (if his / her Attending Physician Do Give Permission to Have One) in order to protect himself / herself, but this unit should be designed such a way to do not allow the person to kill or wound the other person.

When prompted to update an app on my cell phone I am also prompted with the list of permissions that the app update mandates. Permissions that open my phone up to viruses, malicious intents, and possible manipulation of my contacts, etc.

One of New York State's major electric/gas utility companies, Central Hudson Gas & Electric, has been noted for its promotion of solar energy and allowing its utility customers to interconnect their solar energy systems to the utility grid and sell solar electricity back to the grid using net metering. However, a few weeks back Central Hudson suddenly reached its net metering limit cap of 12 MW and is no longer allowing any customers to interconnect their solar energy equipment to the grid via net metering. This shortsighted and unrealistically low cap of only 12 MW imposed by the PSC goes totally against Governer Cuomo's goals of doubling and quadrupling solar installations in the next 2 years in NY. Solar companies in the region have already been badly affected and will soon have to lay off staff and maybe even close down unless the limit is raised and net metering applications are again allowed to be processed. Neighboring states have far surpassed New York's solar installation figures which are comparatively very low due to these types of bureaucratic hurdles. We hope this petition will bring the problem to the attention of the NY state government so they can rectify the net metering cap and allow the proliferation of the solar sector in New York.

Sandals Resort cancelled our reservations for our Vacation, after they closed the resort we were going to, then they reasigned us to another resort, after they accepted our reservatons then they ealized they could get us for more money, so they canceled them.

While extremists in Arizona have passed laws that make a suspect out of anyone who looks “foreign,” California is poised to take a different approach. If the TRUST Act becomes law, California would set a new bar as a state where immigrants stopped for a broken taillight or for selling tamales on the street won’t be fast-tracked into deportation. The TRUST Act would maintain immigration holds for those convicted of a serious felony, but mothers and fathers who get picked up for minor reasons, wouldn’t have to worry about ending up in immigration detention or deportation. Think of all those families who won’t have to live in constant fear of the police! The TRUST Act has already passed the California legislature. Now, all eyes are on Gov. Jerry Brown.

This petition urges the president to establish an annually recognized National Day of Remembrance on October 28th, honoring the laudable restraint of past world leaders resulting in the peaceful resolution of the Cuban Missile Crisis 50 years ago. This day of remembrance is intended to encourage current global leaders to reject firmly and permanently the possibility of nuclear warfare, the consequences of which remain as devastating as they were in the height of the Cold War.

There are many people who work long hours and it is difficult with the long voting lines to exercise your right to vote. I propose a national paid holiday on national voting days every two years starting with this November. The issues facing our nation are important enough to warrant this action so that everyone's voice can be heard. If someone works in an essential service: firemen, hospitals etc. 4 hours should be granted.

I am so very tired of hearing about add-ons to actual legislation. An example would be the Republicans adding a "Stop Obama Care" amendment to the Farm bill.
