• victimizing victims
My daughter Satara, a resident for six years in Hollywood is tortured over months; then held captive (bit, cut, burned, strangled, hit, held in wall, hair yanked from head, raped, and worse). The city PD did not respond until death threats. the DA blames her for the captors force and memory changes to cause her harm, and his dropping drugs in her hospital room while mentally incompetent to choose. We are calling for the DA to drop the victim (Satara) charges, give her victims aid (funding to heal), and stop victimizing victims.

  • REPEAL HR 4646
SNEAKY LITTLE TAX-HR4646 JANUARY 1, 2013, THE US GOVERNMENT WILL BE REQUIRING EVERYONE TO HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT FOR SOCIAL SECURITY CHECKS....WONDER WHY? BANKS GOT BIG USING OUR DEPOSIT & TARP MONEY. THEIR SERVICE CHARGE FEE HAS GONE UP RIDICULOUSLY AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY TREAT US LIKE 3RD CLASS CITIZEN AND NOW THEY WANT TO CHARGE US FOR USING OUR OWN MONEY. This is a 1% tax on all transactions at any financial institution - banks, credit unions, savings and loans, etc. Any deposit you make, or even a transfer within your own bank from one account to another, will have a 1% tax charged. If your paycheck or your Social Security or whatever is direct deposit, it will get a 1% tax charged for the transaction. Keep your eyes and ears open, you will be amazed at what you learn about number of ways you are taxed. if you receive a refund from the IRS next year and you have it direct deposited or you walk in to deposit that check, you guessed it. You will pay a 1% charge of that money just for putting it in your bank. Remember, any money, cash, check or whatever, no matter where it came from, you will pay a 1% fee if you put it in the bank. Some will say, oh well, it's just 1%. Are you kidding me? It's a 1% tax increase across the board. Remember, once the tax is there, they can also raise it at will. And if anyone protests, they will just say, "Oh,that's not really a tax, it's a user fee"! Think this is no big deal? Go back and look at the transactions you made from last year's banking statements. Then add the total of all those transactions and deduct 1%. Still think it's no big deal?

  • Request DOJ Investigate Vern Buchanan
Numerous reports have surfaced about Vern Buchanan breaking campaign finance laws. He's even been named "Most Corrupt Congressman of the Moth" in July by the DCCC for campaign fundraising schemes, tax evasion and witness tampering. He serves as the chief of fundraising for the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Anyone else had more than enough of one Oil Exploring Blow ups, Shipping Wrecks, Refining Pollution and Other Transportation Oil Spills on our Land, Fresh Water and Ocean? Think 1 minute why the USA sends thousands of Our Troops to Middle Eastern Countries and Africa. Our troops can come home to USA. We still pay more and more for gasoline and heating oil. Why? Why would anyone line a rich man's pockets? Why do you ? Solar Grid Fields produce Electricity by storing the Sun's (Free of Charge Rays) Energy. It costs pennies to store and transmit since the power lines already exist. Solar Grids will never blow up, or spill toxins or pollute water.

  • Bring down stand your ground
Repealing stand your ground laws in all states that have passed these laws. The law may have had good intentions but its effect on the populace is that they have the right to be judge and jury and we can't have that in America

  • bill mckibben secretary of the environment
I have been seriously affected by the polution in our environment. I suffered from endometriosis for years. That disease has been linked to petroleum spills in the ocean that sea creatures such as fish and crustacians eat that subsequently cause the disease in humans who eat them. Also, I am a Nyabinghi Rasta and I am a raw vegan. I believe that Bill Mckibben deserves a cabinet position as secretary of the environment. He has worked tirelessly through his organization 350.org to fight the petroleum industry from damaging our ozone and to stop their greedy desire to kill our beautiful and wonderful planet earth. Please sign this petition and let's move on to creating a cabinet position as secretary of the environment for our beloved brother Bill Mckibben. One love

  • Express instead of Zig Zag, rearrange public transit in La Crosse Wisconsin
Fundamental change in public transit in La Crosse Wisconsin from the existing slow zig zag, to express bus meeting with neighborhood vans. La Crosse is long and narrow with 3 main north/south roads, so we need 3 express bus routes. Neighborhood vans on call to take you out to the express bus. Bicycles to rent out at bus stations. Regular downtown quick access vans. And connections with neighboring towns. Reducing traffic costs is the main political point for public transit. Reducing road construction maintenance, expensive parking ramps for a special interest, traffic accidents killing and maiming our children, air water pollution, All these costs can be reduced with a more balanced overall transportation policy that reduces traffic with transit. Transit reduces traffic, so it saves more than it costs. Bicycles reduce traffic, also saving costs. Transit is a main economic engine for a community, benefiting everyone especially new families. Changing the basic set up from slow zig zag, to express bus meeting with neighborhood vans, will open up new opportunities for all members of our community.

  • HOME OWNER TAX REDUCTION FOR MILITARY SERVICE
At least 20 states have HO Tax reduction for all military service men/women who are serving presently and past service. Would like to see Arizona and all other states do the same rather then just a "pat on the back" for those who didn't die for their country.

  • Our right to protect ourselves
The Denver movie theater demanded that patrons disarm themselves. This rule did not prevent some crazed lunatic from bringing in several firearms and killing 12 people. All it did was disarm those lawful citizens with valid concealed weapons permits(CWP) who could have prevented this tragedy. If someone can serve in the military or serve in the police force to protect people then they should also be allowed to continue to protect people in everyday places such as movie theaters even when they are off duty. We need to lift any unnecessary restrictions off of the current CWP laws and institute a new classification of CWP that will allows certain people such as former law enforcement, military or the equivelant, to be allowed to carry their weapons into all establishments.

  • Fix Our Telecommunications Infrastructure
My friends in Europe and Asia can all phone me on their cell phones for pennies per minute, and don't have to choose among high-cost, low quality Internet service providers. The U.S. invented modern telecommunication technologies, why don't we have comparable quality-for-cost in this fundamental infrastructure? Is this really how "free enterprise" performs? If so, we are a terrible model and need to demand a better system!
