• Allow soft opening for Hair Salons in Colorado
Cosmetologists are self employed and will be taking a financial hit during this crisis. Allowing them to open up would ensure they are able to remain in business. There is less risk of the virus spreading in a salon with 5 people or less than in a grocery store. Most if not all salons already have sanitation practices in place that would ensure the virus doesn’t spread.

  • Restricted entry into California
Californians have been adhering to the wise restrictions of our Governor and local officials. We can't allow an additional risk by people coming from states opening prematurely. Those states don't even have a true number of infections due to minimal testing.

  • Specialty Shoe Retailers - One client per staffed employee
Many people suffer from foot pain and other podiatrist related issues and need shoe support as their shoes begin to wear out. As a type of transportation walking/running should be considered an essential business as bicycle shops and other forms of transportation are. Also, first responders and other essential employees have no place to purchase shoes that help deter other foot related issues by wearing poor supportive shoes.

  • GOVERNOR POLIS: Colorado Gym and Fitness Studios Are Essential Too - Open April 26th
American taxpayers have dutifully paid our elected representatives and government workers since the passage of the 16th Amendment in 1913. However, instead of a balanced response (like mandating masks and testing early), the livelihood of millions of small business owners and their employees have been deemed "inessential" (i.e., destroyed) due to overreaching COVID19 policies implemented by our elected officials. We the people know that EVERY job that puts the food on the table is an essential one. Join us as we demand a reasonable, timely, and non-fear-based solution from our elected officials that balances the both concern for public health AND the decades of hard work and sacrifices from the backbone of America, our unsung small business heroes.
