Tennis provides individuals hours of good activity for mental and physical health. After being restricted from tennis for 4+ weeks, we have had enough time to flatten the curve, which is the purpose of Shelter-in-Place. Please reopen all tennis courts and clubs.

Tanning salons are primarily women-owned small businesses. We are extremely seasonal and unfortunately this is the "season". In most cases, the income we earn during the spring months pay our bills during the slower months. It will be very difficult to recover from our losses. The PPP and EIDL programs have failed a majority of us and we are left without any means of income while being shut down. Tanning salons have always taken great responsibility in being extremely clean and sanitary places. We have always and will continue to practice heightened sanitary and privacy/spacing procedures. Additionally, new procedures would include: Only one client at a time inside the lobby area. Clients will be instructed to stand outside while waiting for their rooms to be sanitized with Lucasol, a hospital-grade sanitizer! Check-in procedure will be brief, as clients will be instructed to go to their room immediately upon entering. Clients will be mandated to wear masks as they enter and leave the salon! If the business space includes more than one door, one will be labeled "Enter" and the other as "Exit". Please consider the many reasons our customers use tanning salons: UV increases Vitamin D production, benefits customers with Psoriasis and multiple other skin conditions, while offering increased energy, hormonal balance and mood imprevement I encourage you to sign our petition and help us get open ASAP!

The industry needs to return to work, many of these small businesses were not helped under the PPP. Unless these salons and spas begin to operate many owners will have to close and many in this industry will suffer even more. The cure cannot be worse then the disease.

Alot of us are self employed and have families we support. We not only have personal bills but we also own and operate those buisnesses.

It is one step to get some small businesses opens and allows people to have services that helps them feel better about themselves.

These people have families to provide for and need to provide for themselves. The state/government is NOT helping them with any benefits! They need to live too. Their livelihood is ESSENTIAL

Many people suffer from foot pain and other podiatrist related issues and need shoe support as their shoes begin to wear out. As a type of transportation walking/running should be considered an essential business as bicycle shops and other forms of transportation are. Also, first responders and other essential employees have no place to purchase shoes that help deter other foot related issues by wearing poor supportive shoes.

The way we have treated families and especially unaccompanied minors seeking refuge in the United States is unconscionable. I worry that these children will be forgotten as other priorities and the self-interest of Americans who are worried about themselves and their families takes precedence. These children are among the most vulnerable people in our society. They deserve the same opportunity to shelter in place with family members or families who will take them. Shut the detention centers down and release all children help within them. That's what I want to see.
