It is pure capitalism - but crony capitalism rules have created a situation where the IRAs and 401Ks not really used by the 1-2-3% are marketed to the rest of us – and then we are over taxed just as we start to use the money to pay the bills when we retire. Ask Congress to pass a law that for those below some income level – the first 5% annual withdrawal from an IRA or 401K (Middle and Upper Middle America’s savings location) not be pay the higher income tax then that of the 1-2-3%. Simple enough – set the rate at the capital gains rate or half that persons or families’ income tax rate.

It is the obligation of the County Commissioners to run honest, efficient, and uniform elections. In order to do so, the County Commissioners should have a Photo ID Task Force in place by the July 31,2012 vote that's coming up on transportation needs in and around metro Atlanta so that everyone is well informed on what they will need to bring in order to vote in this and the many upcoming elections in November.Now is the perfect time to find out how a task force can help the voters be informed and prepared.

Occupy attempts to fix every little thing, instead of aiming at the heart of the problem. It dissipates it's energy and accomplishes far less than we need it to.

Jireh Lee Silva was this year's valedictorian at Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, Md., but she has no green card of her own -- and a recent hiccup interfered in processing her mother Nerisa's green card. Nerisa brought her daughter to this country four years ago legally, as a dependent under her visa. And while Jireh has dreams of becoming a doctor and has been accepted into a number of colleges, she doesn't have the means to pay for them. There is no voter fraud in Florida. Gov Scott is trying to prevent Hispanics and African Americans - likely Democrats - from voting. We've already fought for Civil Rights. Let's NOT go backwards on American voting RIGHTS.

Student loan forgiveness

Fair and honest elections are the core of our health as a democracy. The ability of eligible citizens to vote is a treasured right protected by our Constitution, but this right is now threatened by seriously flawed and hasty efforts to cull voting lists here in Florida. Our Supervisor of Elections needs to be proactive in defending the voting rights of all Indian River County citizens.

My son Tom, was a student and IVTech when he became disabled after 3 back surgeries. and is now drawing $900 monthly to live on.They should not be taking $133 from is disability check.

People a trying to educate themselves for a higher standard and not remain dependent on a system that is functioning off the backs of the middle class.
