• COVERUP Of Abuses On Patients At Chester MHC, STILL Exist!
My brother(David P.), a patient at Chester MHC, now for OVER 15 years, is STILL being accused and punished with psychotropic drugs, because of guards and others, ILL behavior. His VIDEO conference, was cancelled, supposedly because the video equipment was broken at Elgin mental hospital. It's supposed to be fixed now, but now, the problem supposedly is, that the 'treatment' team, has to get THEIR schedule in order/coincide with eachothers work schdeule. My brother(since he had a date already scheduled), should be the FIRST, to have his VIDEO conference, but we're concerned that more intentionaly DELAYS are in existance, because we(his family), will NOT allow CMHC, to munipulate us into beliving this time is so needed, when we know that CMHC and this 'treatment' team, is extremely vindictive/retaliatory, concerning families who won't be intimidated by them! ALSO, if you will, please inform any 'HUman Rights' atty., of my number(773-622-2906), for we are STILL seeking counsel to represent him, in a law suit, against CMHC, for the YEARS of ABUSES(including rape) against him. I have, IN MY POSSESSION, MANY medical records/photos of injuries (no fault of his, but by MAINLY guards and a few of the violent inmate/patients), that we have filed complaints against, only for DHS, EFE and the CMHCa dmins., has labeled as 'UNFOUNDED", which can NOT be, because of the injuries he has sustained, because he DEFENDED himself from assaults. We have learned that a few of the culprits, has either 'retired', (which do NOT stop a law suit, as it didn't stop anything concerning JON BURGE) and some are STILL employed by the state of ILLINOIS, at Chester MHC!. PLEASE SEND HELP, is the SAME message (rodenyyoder.com) sent before he was released in '2005' and we are sending the SAME message, for our David.

  • Make the DNA law in Nevada appealable
Current Nevada DNA legislation does not allow the District Courts decision to be appealed to the NV Supreme Court. This means that those able to be cleared by DNA evidence have no recourse if the District Judge (who was probalty the same judge for their trial) denies their petition for DNA testing. This is unfair, and should be corrected by the 2013 Nevada Legislature. Additionally, it should not require a court order to test DNA if the State isn't picking up the tab. DNA has become an important tool to prove innocence. The opportunity for testing should not place the innocent at the mercy of the courts that convicted them.

  • Congress--Pass Obama's Jobs Bill!
What this country really needs is for Congress to pass the Jobs Bill to get projects started that will employ people, hire teachers, police and firefighters, and improve the nation's infrastructure. This bill will not add to the debt as it will pay for itself. Just think of the increase in taxes being paid by all those employed workers, not to mention the increase in local sales taxes generated by people spending their paychecks.

  • Help for Chinese drywall victims
People who unknowingly purchased homes with Chinese drywall have zero help. Their homes are very unhealthy to live in and they are forced to move out and rent. Many builders filed bankrupcy and some manufacturers are not cooperating and standing behind their product. No lemon law applies and there is zero insurance coverage because the drywall is considered a defective product. Homeowners who cannot afford to pay their mortgage and their rent are being foreclosed upon. The banks are ruining their credit even though they pay all of their other bills and the homeowners are the victims. These people, have had to replace furniture, food, pillows, drapes, appliances, etc. They have suffered sinus problems, headaches, nausea, and even coughing up blood. FEMA doesn't cover it. They have no where to turn. Lawsuits against the Chinese government are slow-moving and may bring little or nothing. Meanwhile, these homeowners are losing their homes, their credit and their health.

  • No more Nuclear Plants on Earthquake Fault Lines
Japan should have taught us this one simple fact. Although I do not approve of nuclear energy, can we at least use a little common sense. Have the UN pass a world law that refuses to let countries build nuclear plants on earthquake fault lines.
