What this country really needs is for Congress to pass the Jobs Bill to get projects started that will employ people, hire teachers, police and firefighters, and improve the nation's infrastructure. This bill will not add to the debt as it will pay for itself. Just think of the increase in taxes being paid by all those employed workers, not to mention the increase in local sales taxes generated by people spending their paychecks.

People who unknowingly purchased homes with Chinese drywall have zero help. Their homes are very unhealthy to live in and they are forced to move out and rent. Many builders filed bankrupcy and some manufacturers are not cooperating and standing behind their product. No lemon law applies and there is zero insurance coverage because the drywall is considered a defective product. Homeowners who cannot afford to pay their mortgage and their rent are being foreclosed upon. The banks are ruining their credit even though they pay all of their other bills and the homeowners are the victims. These people, have had to replace furniture, food, pillows, drapes, appliances, etc. They have suffered sinus problems, headaches, nausea, and even coughing up blood. FEMA doesn't cover it. They have no where to turn. Lawsuits against the Chinese government are slow-moving and may bring little or nothing. Meanwhile, these homeowners are losing their homes, their credit and their health.

Eliminate the 60 vote threshold and instead go to a simple majority so we can get something done.

We all work hard for our money! 100% of all income tax collected goes to paying off interest to the privately owned Fed Reserve and the IRS is a private collection agency for the Fed. As Americans, we need to take back the Federal Reserve which would decrease national debt. Income tax should be re-distributed to the American public or used for the betterment of OUR nation. Let's make the Federal Reserve a Federal agency...once again!
