I am seeking some Justice in a system that does not even have any idea on how to even spell the word. I was in my bedroom minding my own business only to be assaulted in my place of residence. The lawyers say the law enforcement personnel can do anything they please and destroy your property and home and the system has no liability whatsoever. They government can destroy your life like they have done mine. I used to work as a computer tech but the way the system is set up. Once you are arrested with anything not charged, I mean anything. It goes on your background check...no conviction required and you find yourself unemployable. I have lost my security clearance which I have had a top secret, secret, and confidental levels for over 20 years. I no longer can pass a background check with this mess and can not have it expunged as the charges are classed as felonies and can be held in limbo meaning not charged (arraigned) for 4 years as a lawyer I spoke to has told me which means I will be unemployable for that long or longer. I am very long term unemployed due to the legal system so I can not pay my bills which means I can not pass a credit check now. I am also disabled (bad back and hearing impaired) which limits the types of work available to me. In my line of work passing a background check, drug screen, credit check and having a security clearance are the norm and been no issue for over 20 years for me. Now what do I do, I need employment so I need to be employable?

Timeshare contract abuse! That people that cant afford ,or dont use their timeshares for any reason ,dont need to be obligated to have to pay large maintaince fees,without there credit rating being destoryed! There is currently no way to exit contrct they wont let you!,that was sold under high pressure actions in first place, needs investigating?

Republican obstructionism, led by Sen Mitch McConnell of Tennesse in the senate and by John Boehner of Ohio in the House, has held up many bills such as the President Obama's Jobs Bill package. This bill would help our economy and help many folks who are suffering right now with unemployment and reduced work hours. We need living wage jobs in this country RIGHT NOW! Let Mitch McConnell and John Boehner know that what they are doing through fillibuster and obstruction is hurting the country. Let them know that by their obstructionism that they are NOT being good Americans. Let them know that their goal of keeping President Obama a one term President, something Sen. McConnell is proud of stating, is really hurting our country and is a treasonist statement!

Our children are suffering higher insidents of breathing problems these days.I would like to ban leaf blowers and compressed air blowers as the dust created from these devices are bad for our health.I liken it to second hand smoke. Example 1: Compressed air was used to clean the decks of welding debris,chop saw dust (galvanized metal) and other hazardess materials.This debris was blown out into the atmosphere of San Jose Ca.This went on for 18 floors. Example 2:I watched 5 little children playing in there fenced in yard.The gardener at the house next door began to blow.In the light of the sun I could see the dust envelope the children. The people in the city,the little children should not have to breath in debris from these blowers.It is time to get back to the rake and the room!

Repeal of Citizens United is absolutely vital to sustain a true democracy in the United States. The ability of those wealthy few powerful sources to BUY elections in any sector of the government without complete transparency, whether local, state or national, is not consistent with democratic rule.

It is NOT the schools failing the children. It IS the Chicago Board of education failing our schools. Chicago needs a school board ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE "NOT" APPOINTED BY THE MAYOR!!! Chicago is the ONLY school district without an elected school board. That Election should be funded by tax dollars as are our Local School Council elections in order to keep corporations from corrupting the democratic process. Making a Case for an Elected School Board Chicago needs an elected school board that... 1 represents the people NOT corporations, 2 emphasizes teaching NOT testing, 3 welcomes parents and the community, 4 replaces suspensions & expulsions with restorative justice (community service) 5 dismantiles the school-to-prison pipeline, 6 funds smaller class sizes, 7 finances public schools, NOT corporate schools, 8 helps parents get Title I funds, 9 promotes a challenging curriculum, 10 advocates for teachers, collective bargaining, & supports teacher pensions, 11 values and affirms the right of quality public school education for all, 12 uses fair, equitable, and ethical hiring & firing practices.

The judges scorecards in the bout between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley on 06/09/12 were a complete travesty. We are calling on the Nevada State Athletic Commission to open an investigation into this obvious mockery and blatant degradation of the sport of boxing. A separate unbiased sanctioning legislative body must be created to protect the boxers and the sport itself. Boxing is the only sport where shenanigans such as last nights decisions can go unregulated and without recourse. With boxing being the largest sport economic source of revenue for Nevada, we the people urge the Nevada State Athletic Commission delve into the realm of corruption and incompetence in boxing before people like myself stop paying $54.95 for a PPV fight and/or spend thousands of dollars to travel and watch in person. The years of righteousness and reverence of boxing are over. The mystique and awe that used to come with watching boxing are over. It is time for us to go back and consider what our Founding Fathers had in mind when they pictured public service. It was to serve and represent their constituents. It was not meant to be a career. Public service is not a full time job. Public office should not only be available for the richest people in the country. Everyone needs peer representation. I think there should be a two term limit for local, State, and Federal officials
