We need an agency to review reported misconduct brought to the attention of local Internal Affairs Officers. Unfortunately, the officer who reviews and investigates these complaints tend to be coworkers and this either needs to change or oversite is needed to ensure citizens complaints are not just being written off.

Last year, Cheyenne River Sioux Vern Traversie, a tribal citizen of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, went to the Rapid City Regional Hospital for heart surgery, but a graphic photograph taken by a nurse upon his September return home indicates the procedures went far beyond normal medical care. The pictures show three distinctive Ks - or KKK - on his abdomen. Law enforcement and medical personnel have yet to satisfy Traversie and others with any follow up action against the hospital's staff. They maintain no one did anything wrong to Traversie. It was made clear in the recent past that Scott walker has PAID the Chicgo attorneys that were hired to defened him against the John Doe investigation. In Wisconsin it is illeagal to hire or PAY attorneys until AFTER an indictment has been handed down. The Joe Doe investigators, Dane County DA and Sheriff need to step up enforce this part of WI law as the WI DOJ is not doing anything. It is time we the people force action on this ASAP.

The issue of unregulated campaign money would be greatly reduced if we outlawed the use of the media for political purposes

New legislators showing up in Congress are being pressured to sign Grover Norquist's Pledge not to raise taxes under any circumstances. This unrealistic pledge hobbles their ability to compromise, meet in the middle, and work with both sides of the aisle. Realistically, we cannot balance the budget merely by cutting spending; some taxes must be raised as well. Senators & Congress persons were elected to work for the people of their states, not for a lobbyist. I believe this pledge is a conflict of interest; so I'm calling on all legislators who signed Grover Norquist's pledge, a pledge to a lobbyist, to take back that pledge.

BioSolids, a term created by the waste management industry to disguise the negative connotations of "sewage," can be sold as fertilizer without listing ingredients. These products can even be described as "Natural." Many people remain in the dark about the potential threats to their health that BioSolid Products can produce. In the least, they should be aware that sewage is an ingredient in the fertilizer that they are using in their home garden.

President Obama point of view on same sex marriages shows the direction our sociaty is going.
