• Give animals a fighting chance!
My fur baby was euthanized less than an hour after being picked up by “animal control” due to severe injuries that he did not have. We took our DECEASED pet to another vet and they said he did not have those injuries. “Ramona Humane Society “ lied and continue to remove themselves from any fault. They took a picture of my baby Chase and posted it ON their WEBsite and said they did not post the picture and they did not know who posted his picture. SHELTERS SUCH AS THESE NEED to be honest and forthcoming for the sake of the animals and owners. It’s CRIMINAL AND WRONG for them to disregard our rights, WRONGFULLY AND INSTANTANEOUSLY EUTHANIZING HEALTHY ANIMALS WHO ARE LOVED BY THEIR FAMILIES. WHY WAS THERE NO ATTEMPT OR WINDOW OF TIME ALLOWED FOR US TO LOCATE HIM?

  • Support the meat packing workers
We are all told to shelter in place, keep six feet distance between us and use a face mask when we go anywhere for our safety and the safety of our fellow Americans and yet we expect the meat processing workers to endanger their lives and ours by continuing to work in unsafe conditions.

  • Employees are at least as important as edible birds and animals
Do not force workers to live hand to mouth, paycheck which will run out before earning another. They toil to support themselves and families, not only you. Please do not follow the Trump Playbook; it's soon going to be x-rated.

  • Help for for SS recipients
There is one group of people that fall between unemployment and pandemic assistance unemployment. Those drawing Social Security and Social Security Disability have been forgotten. Those that have Social Security as their only income have been greatly impacted, and there has been no mention of this group. Most of these folks are your parents or grandparents, aunts and uncles. They have worked hard all of their lives now to live amidst such a struggle just to buy food and medication and keep their lights on. Surely you do not want that for your family member. With the Back to Work program, there is a section of disabled folks that are allowed to work a tiny amount of hours each week, if medically possible (given their disability), within the guidelines SS has set up. They cannot pay rent, mortgages, pharmacy bills, even expected monthly bills such as electricity, with the one time $1200 stimulus payment! A lot of folks have had to double up and delay payment for phone or electricity for two months, while it was already difficult to pay just for one month. While all are thankful IF they have received the stimulus check, many that I know have not even received the first check!! They are going to be so far behind on all bills, where do they go for help? How can SO MANY I know even afford to EAT and buy food and much needed maintenance medications without ANY INCOME?! Retail Pharmacies do not allow you to run a tab and pay whenever! These medications are crucial in order to just function on the most basic, bare level, even staying at home. Chronic pain patients are very hard-hit. Those that are living on a disability check have had to stack up several months on some bills. There is simply no money at all just to exist! PLEASE HELP!! I know a lot of self employed people that make such a small amount of money and some are also drawing disability. They just cannot live on the disability check and the self-employment assistance WILL NOT be available to these good people. How do we help them??? They were barely squeaking by before now. We are the “richest country in the world” and to say these folks live on a fixed income doesn’t even begin to describe the tiny amount of money they have to juggle. This SHOULD NOT HAPPEN in the USA. #nooneshouldgowithout #allofusneedtoeat #helpthepeopleleftout #disabledandforgotten

  • Essential workers in Georgia
We, the workers are risking our health as well as our families health. We cannot quarantine. If we decide to stay home we risk losing our jobs. Most of us are not eligible for the paid leave, and that is only if our our companies provide that offer, most do not.

  • West Point Commandant: Hold a Virtual Graduation
I have watched in amazement as President Trump declared he would be the commencement speaker at West Point in May. West Point had planned to ask him to be the speaker, but they had thought to delay the graduation ceremony until June. Mr. Trump's unexpected announcement, that he would be the commencement speaker on May 15, caught West Point unawares. I believe they are totally flummoxed by this announcement, which was made after Vice President Pence spoke at the Air Force Academy graduation this month. The president is doing this to benefit his own political progress towards re-election, not to honor the cadets or West Point. He is determined to have more attention directed at himself and the marvelous job he is doing. It is a major diversion from the catastrophe of his lack of leadership in the COVID-19 pandemic. Tell the West Point Commandant that in order to protect the lives of the graduating cadets, their families, the people they would come into contact with in their travels to West Point and back home, and the West Point staff, the graduation ceremony should be redirected from in-person attendance by the graduating cadets to a virtual graduation. The president could still be the commencement speaker from the White House, and his speech could be broadcast nationwide. Please consider the health protections of all who would be involved in an in-person West Point graduation. This must be stopped!

  • All workers to receive the extra $600 each week in their checks
Its' important because people are putting their lives at risk to provide for their families and go to work to keep their jobs. They are being forced to go back to work, and are making less money then someone sitting home, which is crazy.

  • All Workers With Reduced Income or Furloughed due to Covid-19 should receive PUA.
Because many Americans are losing income because they fall into the traditional unemployment base income limits to receive benefits. Many Americans continue to work second jobs or reduced hours that put them over the limits to qualify for PUA even though they are making substantially less money, and not getting 100% of their traditional income. The PUA was set up to help Americans replace 100% of their income, but many of us are being excluded due to the base income limits. Yet people who are getting the PUA benefits are not working at all and making substantially more than those working reduced hours or second jobs. Everyone who lost wages or were furloughed should be entitled to the PUA benefits equally and traditional base income limits should not be used if you income has been reduced or lost as a direct result of Covid-19.

  • Healthcare Student Loan Forgiveness
This would be an awesome way to thank those who risk their lives and the lives of their families everyday to selflessly help others. This pandemic is proof that all those in place are deserving of the diplomas and degrees related to their prospective fields of employment. Please form a full pardon or a great percentage of relief of their debt and lighten the burden on them. These workers juggle everyday with going to work or not. While others have no hesitation at all about going above and beyond doing their job. They are indeed the HERO'S we need through it all.

  • Stop Abortion Bans Now
Abortions are time sensitive and an often difficult but needed choice for millions of women across the country. Women are humans and have a right to freely govern their own bodies. No one has the right to place their "moral" or "religious" beliefs on another. Women choose to abort fetuses for various reasons and they shouldn't be shamed or prevented from doing so. These bans during the pandemic are an excuse to continue to skirt Roe vs Wade. Stop policing women's bodies.
