The bill would give water rights that currently fall under native control to the power industry, and leave huge portions of both Navajo and Hopi peoples without any water access. They will have no way to water livestock, meaning that this bill will be a death sentence for thousands of sheep, goats, horses, and cows. Their way of life and livelihood depends on sheep, so this bill is an act of genocide.

The current gun control legislation seems to be designed by gun advocates, and fortified by their financial investment in, and lobbying of congressmen. We believe the citizens should be allowed to decide this issue, as they are the ones adversely affected by the unfettered, poorly regulated use of these lethal weapons. With all this talk about cutting into State worker's and now Railroad worker's pension funds to feed the political machine, the question must arise: What about Politician's pensions? Anyone in the workforce, be it State, Union, or otherwise, pays into their own pension fund which they can not draw from until they reach retirement age. This is NOT an entitlement for them. Politicians, on the other hand, receive a lifetime pension for serving a single term (4 to 6 years in most cases) which is funded solely on our tax dollars! It is time we stand up and demand that these "public servants" give up their pensions first!
