• President Obama, Why do you support the failed "war on drugs" whose policies imprison African Ame...
Statistics show that whites and African Americans use drugs at an equal level, yet African Americans are sentenced to prison at 4 times or higher the rate of whites for the same crimes of possession or dealing (Human Rights Watch). Why does our first African American president support this racist policy?

  • Fair, Accountable, Trade, Tax and Subsidies
Our trade policies promote companies to invest over seas not in the US. Our goal is to impose appropriate taxes and tariffs and do away with government hand outs to companies that have major operations outside of the United states.

  • Legalize Medical Marijuana At The Federal Level
Legalizing medical marijuana at the federal level would end the question of state vs. federal. It would end raids on the dispensaries. It would allow people on Social Security Disability to have a card without fear of losing benefits.

  • Employment Arbitration Reform
Employer contracts often contain requirements that all parties settle disputes through an artibtration process. The arbitration process is unfairly skewed in favor of employers and businesses who set up and pay for this employment requirement. This reform would place all employment arbitration negotiations and final determinations in the state's Fair Employment and Housing Department paid for with unbiased state funding.

  • Enact Warren Buffet's Common-Sense Reforms by Signing this Petition
The following is the substance of my petition, ala the wonderful Warren Buffett. This would shake things up in DC like nothing else, and reward good, honest work while ridding America of the sludge in politics........ Congressional Reform Act of 2012 1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. 2. Congress (past, present & future# participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 1/1/13. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term#s), then go home and back to work.

  • HR4170
I am writing in favor of HR4170, student loan forgiveness. With the economy and todays world it would be nice if student loans could be forgiven. Many people have tons of student loan debt and are struggling to make ends meet with just the usual household bills. Groceries are highly expensive these days. It's hard enough just to feed the family. Please vote HR4170.

  • Investigate Internet and Cell Phone Privacy
There is growing concern that our emails, internet activity and cell phone calls are available for monitoring by both private phone companies and data aggregators and government agencies. The development of new communications technologies has caught our society unaware as private, business and government sectors scramble to determine what limitations there are, how our rights to privacy affect what is permissible.
