All elected officials are subject toterm limits (time spent in office not doing the people's work for the people) - it is way beyond time to bring the very same term limits to the Supreme Court and the political hacks that call themselves Supreme Court Justices today - people paid with government taxes to do our work for us, not to undo what the people have voted into law -

The localities of Greater Richmond share transportation needs, including the absorption of 300,000 more people by 2027. But, the region currently has no central transportation authority empowered to both plan and fund projects that would benefit the common good. This Richmond Transportation Authority can only be created by the Virginia General Assembly.

More than 132,000 Arizona children are uninsured due to the freeze of KidsCare in 2010. Arizona is the only state in the country that has not lifted the freeze on the Children's Health Insurance Program.

Voting Rights

There is so much emphasis on testing in today's schools that our children are learning nothing about actually living. Teachers are judged by the performance of their students and standardized testing. The schools are also judged. The education, therefore, it aimed at getting all the answers correct. It leaves little time for learning things not included in the tests. It leaves little time to teach children how to learn - how to understand other people - find information on subjects in which THEY are interested. How about if we made parents pass standardized tests in order to maintain their homes and families? How about if we made politicians pass standardized tests about their country and what they have and haven't done for the people in their districts? Our children should feel comfortable in school. It should be a nurturing atmosphere, not an atmosphere of fear that they will not live up to what is expected of them.

For a person who has a felony or felonies on their record not to be penalized & denied or either their children to suffer when trying to apply for any type of low income governmental housing. Especially if no other form of crime was commited by them within several years. Everyone has the right to be given a second chance and forgiven for mistakes they have made but how can they be if no one will let them.

Thousands of Utah high school students may have to re-think their plans to take a concurrent enrollment course next year, if a controversial sex-ed bill, HB363, is signed into law by Gov. Gary Herbert, education officials say. Some concurrent enrollment courses, that give students both college and high school credit, deal with topics such as contraception that would be prohibited from discussion in public schools under the legislation that lawmakers passed. Around 1,100 high school students are now enrolled in concurrent courses at Weber State University, such as family relations and human development that may not be offered next year. The HB363 has not been on higher education officials' radar, since it was seen as a bill that would only affect public education. Concurrent enrollment classes are college-credit courses that can be taken in high school. If this becomes a law, the bill could prevent high schools from offering some college level courses that deal with human reproduction and sexuality. I hope that this won’t happen because students have actively participated in courses and any concurrent enrollment class that students have an opportunity to take is a good thing. This is really important for these students. Not only will HB363 strip parents of the right to choose for themselves how they want their kids taught sex ed, but now we're seeing that high school students are going to be denied the opportunity to take college courses. I think that this bill is tragic and shortsighted. Help us oppose HB363.
