This would, in turn, threaten end of life decisions, hospital visitations, adoptions, child custody and more. 2. This amendment, if passed, would eliminate health coverage and benefits currently offered by city and county governments across North Carolina. This would strip coverage from children and unmarried couples - gay and straight. 3. Current polling indicates that North Carolinians oppose virtually everything that would happen if Amendment One passes, they just do not understand the impacts yet. The students of Slippery Rock University find themselves with little choice but to accept the bottled water on campus which hinders students safety, and is economically as well as environmentally detrimental. Support our effort to make the necessary changes before May 11, 2012.
