I want any right to work legislation put on the balllot for the public to decide. I think its our obligation to stand up for the unions that have stood for the American worker for so many years. It is their hard work that is being undermined by coporate greed and It is time to push back, because we are the 99%.

When the National Defense Authorization Act was signed by Pres. Obama on Dec 31st not only did it lay out military spending but it also allowed for indefinite detention of Americans. (with out due process of law as laid out in our Constitution). Minnesota should stand up against this UN-consitutional attack and nullify sections 1021 and 1022 of the NDAA.

Rush Limbaugh has gone too far this time. His vicious personal attack on Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke was beyond over the top, and more than simply distasteful; it was appalling, offensive, and even obscene. Suggesting that she has so much sex that he is surprised she can walk straight borders on pornographic. Suggesting that she should be required to record personal intimate moments so the entire nation can watch them is atrocious. Limbaugh's rant is an affront to civilized society and an outright attack on all women. While his First Amendment right to freedom of speech is to be respected, he must learn that there are consequences for his deviant behavior. Please, tell Netflix that if they continue to support Mr. Limbaugh by way of advertising on his radio show, that they will lose your business. It is time for us to stop sitting on our hands and fight for our nation and its people!

The number one problem people face is not having a job. All effort must be placed in job creation. People are losing their homes and this is hurting children and families. Also, people who are trying to help others are being attacked by some in the press, some politicians and some corporate leaders. My petition is about gay marriage. Alabama is a state that is atlease 40 percent gay. Now what difference does it make with gay's already living together, having babies, and starting a life together. Why not make them equal and let them marry the person they love the most. Alabama is a real biblical state yes we know. But why let alabamians move to a different state and support and fund them when Alabama can do the same thing and keep their people.

Closing TSH will place vulnerable individuals and their families from receiving local services and placing a hugh burden on families who will have to travel to Worcester for servies. If is doubtful that the incresaed community services needed to support this population will be provided following discharge.

Two year colleges should be protected by constitutional mandate, just as K-12. Currently there is no mandate to fund them at an existence level. They must grovel for every dime, even though they have a faster and more efficient turn around to prepare their students for gainful employment and become tax payers. The cut backs over the last three years set their ability to provide adequate classes back 20 years. Student tuition has increased well over 20% during this time!
