We are self employed professionals, who are in need to financially support ourselves and our families. We are essential and need the lift!

The beauty industry is mainly built on independent self employed people that rely on clients to make money to sustain their income to pay bills, buy groceries and everyday living. The small owner that I d still required to pay the rent and power on the salon that isn't bringing in any money at all is hurting the owner and may shut that business down. Our towns need those businesses and those professionals need the business still open to use their very expensive license to continue to work and provide for their families. We were placed as non- essential, but practicing our craft is essential to not place ourselves in a grave financial hardship and loss of a business.

Pet grooming is VERY important to pet health AND human health. Not everyone can maintain a long haired dog or cat at home weather they physically cant themselves as owners or the pets dont let them as the owner hasnt had countless hours of training and proper equipment to work on a biting and jumpy animal. Too many times then hair will get matted and cause major skin issues to the pet. Also if hair gets too long in sanitary areas like eyes, ears, butt, vulva and around a penis it can get matted and stuck full of feces and cause eye and ear infections. Also if a pet owner has things like allergies a well groomed pet can help maintain those allergies for the human that build up on the pets fur. Also.. . This is the season for fleas and ticks and again a well maintained and groomed pet can help keep the fleas and ticks under control. ITS NOT JUST HAIR! IT IS FOR THE HEALTH OF BOTH ANIMAL AND THEIR OWNERS THAT A WELL MAINTAINED AND GROOMED PET HELP.
