Trump has proven himself to be the most dangerous president in U.S. history, possibly one of the most dangerous rulers of all time. His response to the COVID-19 pandemic has been particularly disastrous for our country. We need the Democratic nominee to be someone who will confront him, show themself to be an effective alternative, and inspire voters - particularly unaffiliated voters - to come out during the general election. Former Vice-President Joe Biden has NOT shown himself to be that person. Early in his campaign, Biden promised donors that nothing would fundamentally change, and told people who want progressive changes to vote for someone else. He has stated that he has no empathy for younger generations or people who are not wealthy. He has expressed disinterest in discussing policy, refused to confront Trump for his response to the pandemic, and failed to address the public regarding the current crisis in a way that would inspire people to vote for him in November. His behavior suggests a disinterest in actually running for president and disconnection from the reality faced by most people in this country. In contrast, Senator Sanders' response to the COVID-19 crisis has demonstrated that he is the president we need. Sanders mobilized his campaign for president to raise over 2 million dollars for charities providing COVID-19 relief, and continues to request donations to additional charities. He stood up to the president, centrist Democrats, and Republicans in the Senate to ensure that the coronavirus bill has at least some provisions to help the working class survive this crisis. His addresses to the public have been clear, informative, motivating, and as comforting as any realistic response to this crisis can be. The best thing Mr. Biden can do at this point in time is to drop out of the Democratic primary and endorse Senator Sanders. That will allow the Democratic National Committee to nominate Sanders for president and free energy and resources for everyone involved to focus on COVID-19 relief. Mr. Biden's endorsement of Sanders will ensure party unity. The pandemic has clearly demonstrated the need for Sanders' policies such as Improved Medicare for All, creating a shift in consciousness that will help him secure enough votes to win in November. If first responders or essential workers catch the virus, they will spread it rapidly by their high-contact jobs. If they themselves cannot work, there will be many unnecessary deaths. If healthcare workers cannot take care of the sick, many will die. If the supply chain is broken, many will be affected and die without needed medicine and food. It is counter productive to have all 50 states bidding against each other during this crisis.

President Trump's recent comments comparing his Presidential briefings on the deadly coronavirus pandemic with a reality show named "The Bachelor" is clear indication that he does not have a grasp of the reality of his surroundings or the seriousness of the current state of The Union. He appears to believe that he is still on a reality television show.

This inferences runs to the base of legal stance of the attorney General with the knowledge President Trump of manipulations of our federal Government.

Gov. Cuomo announced this week that there are many private companies willing to join this effort but they need the capital to do that, and it has to come from the Federal Government. We've heard of many companies around the country pitching in who are trying to finance without federal aid. In World War II, the government at first tried to lure private industry using financial tools such as tax incentives and write-offs of capital investments. They lost valuable time before they realized it wasn't going to work that way so, using the DPA, they had to guarantee the companies they would purchase the products they needed. Having more testing kits is an essential step in flattening the curve. Currently COVID positive people are handling our food, checking out our groceries or medications, delivering our mail, flying, medically treating people, infecting their friends and families. We NEED MORE TESTING KITS, and COULD HAVE THEM WITHIN A WEEK. More Testing Kits will SAVE LIVES. POSSIBLY YOUR'S OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE. By flattening the curve sooner, and lower we will all be able to get back to our normal lives more quickly and the ECONOMIC IMPACT of this disease will be dramatically decreased.

Our very lives depend on these selfless individuals, who are fighting a war on our behalf. They are truly heroes and this is the least we can do to thank them for their service.

We need Dr Fauci to continue to be the voice of science based reason and information. Recent conspiracy theories, gaining millions of believers, have targeted him as a “deep state” actor working to undermine Trump. We need to show massive support of and faith in Dr Fauci in the face of this effort to undermine him. He is the voice we trust.

Due to the coronavirus, election days have been closed, changed or possibly cancelled. Only five states have Vote By Mail laws in all elections. It should be national Vote By Mail for all 50 states. This is the perfect time to advocate for a Vote By Mail law.

President Trump is blatantly using the news organizations’ extensive, live coverage to freely campaign for a second term. It is wrong and dangerous to provide so much unfettered airtime to someone who is happily, shamelessly spreading terrible, damaging misinformation that is already costing fellow Americans their lives. Please tell national and local media outlets to monitor and then broadcast valid, accurate information from medical experts, rather than feelings and diatribes from the President that only serve his own electoral interests.
