The way we have treated families and especially unaccompanied minors seeking refuge in the United States is unconscionable. I worry that these children will be forgotten as other priorities and the self-interest of Americans who are worried about themselves and their families takes precedence. These children are among the most vulnerable people in our society. They deserve the same opportunity to shelter in place with family members or families who will take them. Shut the detention centers down and release all children help within them. That's what I want to see.

Cosmetologists are self employed and will be taking a financial hit during this crisis. Allowing them to open up would ensure they are able to remain in business. There is less risk of the virus spreading in a salon with 5 people or less than in a grocery store. Most if not all salons already have sanitation practices in place that would ensure the virus doesn’t spread.

Small businesses need to survive, this will help in a small way, The people of this great State need to be able start getting out and this is a great way to do it with, no to very minimal human to human exchange! Camping is a great family activity and will help with these kids that have been cooped up and it can be done in very safe manner!

Californians have been adhering to the wise restrictions of our Governor and local officials. We can't allow an additional risk by people coming from states opening prematurely. Those states don't even have a true number of infections due to minimal testing.
