• Tell Congress: Investigate and Cut Ties to McKinsey
The New York Times has broken the news that consultants from McKinsey—a global, corporate consulting firm that holds contracts with numerous government agencies—were complicit in fueling Trump's vicious anti-immigrant agenda. Not only were they willingly paid to collaborate in the development of an inhumane and illegal set of policies, they made recommendations that even made ICE officials uncomfortable—all in the name of separating, detaining, and deporting more immigrant families. The Trump administration's immigration policies are a stain on our nation's soul. The House of Representatives, which is already investigating the family separation policy, should specifically investigate the role of McKinsey consultants; how much they were paid; what expertise they brought; what recommendations they made; and how many other federal contracts they hold. We need Congress to take measures to cut all ties to McKinsey and other consulting firms that benefit so richly at taxpayer expense. Congress must ensure it will no longer fund inhumane policy proposals to punish immigrant families. #DefundHate

  • Tell ICE to #FreeKelly!
Kelly is a 23-year-old transgender asylum seeker who has been locked up in immigration jail for 2+ years. Kelly is suffering medical neglect and was put in solitary confinement for four months solely because of her gender identity. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has the power to release her immediately but refuses to let her go. During her early childhood, Kelly survived beatings and psychological abuse from her own family. She fled to Mexico at 12 years old seeking safety but instead became a victim of sex trafficking and labor trafficking. Kelly escaped to the U.S. when she was 17. She was briefly locked up in immigration jail and when she was released, she found a lawyer to help her apply for asylum. But, Kelly’s lawyer never told her about her appointment at the asylum office. While her asylum case was still pending, Kelly was arrested. Although she has never been convicted of any charges, ICE transferred Kelly to immigration detention immediately. Kelly is suffering tremendously, both physically and mentally. Additionally, her unnecessarily prolonged detention is exacerbating the trauma she has experienced as a domestic violence and human trafficking survivor. During her 2+ years in detention, Kelly has never been given a bond hearing. All Kelly wants is to live safely and without fear. Unfortunately, there are many more transgender individuals like Kelly who are unjustly locked up in immigration jail while they apply for asylum, and are experiencing inhumane treatment because of their gender identity. Kelly needs your help. Join us in demanding Field Office Director Corey Price and Assistant Field Office Director William M. Jepsen use their discretion to #FreeKelly. Sign the petition now!

  • Donald Trump must testify under oath
We’ve heard from multiple witnesses in the House’s impeachment investigation into President Trump. And they’ve each given us a crucial look into the president’s troubling conduct. But there’s one key player who has yet to be questioned -- and the American people deserve to hear what he has to say: President Trump himself. Trump has told lie after lie to the public to cover up his repeated abuses of power. That’s why he must testify before Congress -- and swear under penalty of perjury that he’s telling the truth. The American people deserve to hear from Trump under oath on questions like: - When will you release the full, un-redacted transcripts from your calls with the Ukrainian president? - Is it acceptable for candidates to solicit campaign help from a foreign entity? - When will you release your tax returns, as you’ve publicly said you’ll do? Both President Nixon and President Clinton gave depositions around their impeachment inquiries. And Democrats have the power to call Trump to testify right now. He can either comply, or admit he’s not prepared to do that -- which will speak volumes. The impeachment process is meant to educate the American people, so they can be active participants in judging the facts and making a decision. But that can’t happen as long as Trump has free rein to lie to the public -- so it’s time for Congress to compel Trump’s sworn testimony and get the genuine truth, or make Trump face legal consequences if he lies. Add your name to tell Congress: make President Trump face the American people -- and give a deposition under oath.

  • EPA Allows Wildlife-killing Cyanide Bombs
Last year M-44s killed more than 6,000 animals, including coyotes and foxes, a bear, opossums, raccoons and skunks. M-44s are one of the most barbaric methods in the government's war on wildlife — and Trump's EPA has again refused to ban it. Help us protect wildlife from these killing devices by signing the petition to get them banned. Trump's EPA has shirked its duty to protect wildlife, people and pets. In August the EPA issued an interim decision renewing sodium cyanide registration. A week later it withdrew that interim decision for more discussions. Even though more than 99.9% of people commenting on the proposal asked the EPA to ban M-44s, the agency decided to keep cyanide bombs in its arsenal. If we're going to stop this madness, we'll need to redouble our efforts. With your help, we can put a stop to the use of cyanide traps once and for all. Please stand up against M-44s by signing our petition.

  • Investigate Trump’s Personal Pentagon Slush Fund!
A major donor to the Republican party was just awarded a $400 million contract to build part of Trump’s racist, dangerous, ego-driven border wall — even though the Army Corps of Engineers had said the bid didn’t meet their standards! So why did they get the contract? Because Trump personally and repeatedly lobbied the Pentagon on their behalf — conduct so unusual for a procurement process that it alarmed military commanders.  We have to call this what it is: abuse of the president’s office for a calculated partisan purpose. Sound familiar? That’s because the impeachment inquiry has made the same determination on Trump’s actions with Ukraine!! This cannot continue. We must DEMAND Congress investigate Trump’s continued abuse of power immediately! Tell the U.S. House of Representatives to investigate Trump’s role in rewarding a Republican party donor a $400 million border wall contract!

  • Wrongfully accused and convicted
Because this man has sat 13 years ,set to be beyond life ,for the Collin Counties corrupt work group within the court. THE GOOD OLE BOY SYSTEM is wrong. The transcript stated she, the alledged victim crawled in bed on a rainy night on her step fathers side of the bed and touched him inappropriately. He was asleep and assumed it was his wife until he touched her than realized it was the alledged victim in which he told her to leave the room. This incident was discussed and was never an issue until Mr. Roper slept with his former wifes best friend and wanted a divorce. The rainy night incident was than made into the case in which he was wrongly sentenced. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to two life sentences, when he had never had any other charges. The DA used the dismissed charges as a previous charge to secure an indictment and conviction, when the dismissed charges were the same incident not indicted used to show a pattern of behavior that was manufactured to railroad this man.

  • Paternity Fraud
My petition is to target or change the laws or legislature with the child support laws and paternity issues within the state of Tennessee. I’m a victim of paternity fraud,I thought that I was the father of a child and signed the birth certificate and later after the fact discovered that I wasn’t through dna testing through a legal approved facility. I have filed numerous petitions and spent thousands of dollars in legal fees and nothing was changed or done about this situation. Also I’m still paying arrears on the case and the said child is an adult now and the courts or judicial system will not acknowledge the paternity test and that the child is not my child or stop the arrears on the case. I’m not able to obtain a passport or travel out of the country due to this infraction or issue. It’s unfortunate and unfair for myself to have to continue paying support for a child that is not my biological child and also have to be punished for unfair and impractical legislation and child support laws that are in place in the state of Tennessee. I know that I am not the only male that suffers from this issue or problem and I ask that something be done to correct the issue and process and change the law or laws in the state of Tennessee pertaining to child support and paternity cases. Sincerely, Derrick A. Arnold

  • Remove NRA money from Wisconsin Politics!
Thanksgiving weekend alone, eight high schools around WI were terrorized and the police used deadly force. School shootings cannot be normalized and we must hold our elected officials accountable! Jim Sensenbrenner (WI-5) and Gelnn Grothman (WI-6) take corporate PAC money from the NRA. We must let them know that the voice of their constituents, the people they are supposed to be representing, is more important than the cash bribes they take from the NRA. We must get corporate money out of politics and if they don't agree, we will vote them out!

  • Trump impeachment
I’m starting this petition to remove president Donald Trump from office because he’s an extremely extremely rude person and a liar and an asshole. He makes fun of his colleagues and targets Muslim people for no reason. I’m adopted from another country and just the thought that if I wasn’t adopted at the time I was I might not have been in the country and with my wonderful parents friends and family and same goes for my other Colombian adopted friends. He doesn’t care about people’s race, color, background, he cares about himself. Something needs to be done about him and his behavior it’s just not how anyone especially our President should act around and twords other people.
