We need to conserve resources (ie forests) and energy. Boxes used only 1 time, then recycled or thrown out, wastes resources, energy or adds to landfills. Carboard boxes should be used multiple times. With the ever increasing use of delivered goods, mainly by Amazon, carboard use is increasing. We need to reuse resources. Amazon should start a cardboard box reuse program, which could set an example for other on line services.

So that the building can be maintained and properly overseen. So that our community can be involved in the programs that go on there without harsh criticism from the Board of parks. We need to be able to use the facility for more activities to give our youth and community a fair option to stay within our town to enjoy sports, events, dances, classes, etc. The possibilities are endless. We feel that the board of parks has failed to work with the community and run things fairly. Our community deserves better and it is up to us to see that it happens.

Our rights are being violated. Our rights to vote on a law before it goes into effect, and our rights as a legal adult.

I feel like this is very important to the whole community. Wearing uniforms makes us feel plan and also very uncomfortable. Like for example in central, when we walk around with hoodies were hounded for them to get taken off. But if you don’t take it off that exact minute the admin will confiscate it. But see if we didn’t have to worry about uniform policy’s we wouldn’t have to worry about teacher calling admin to have student remove hoodies, Or students be given unreasonable consequences

For those of us who have been 18 for a while and then all the sudden we’re not “mature” enough to buy our own products ? This is so stupid.

San Antonio must make a very clear stance that “security” is not enhanced by ramping up the lethality of forces lined up along the border or aggressively targeting immigrants. These are methods of terror. San Antonio should redefine “security” to mean access to food, housing, health care, education and work. These are the things that lead to meaningful, secure lives, not assassinations at borders or deportation of beloved community members. San Antonio has the important responsibility to behave like a compassionate city as articulated by our own city Charter for Compassion: “Compassion impels us to work tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of our fellow creatures, to dethrone ourselves from the centre of our world and put another there, and to honour the inviolable sanctity of every single human being, treating everybody, without exception, with absolute justice, equity and respect.” We are charged with the responsibility to actively demand better for ourselves, for each other, and as a city. Because of this, we demand a compassionate San Antonio that envisions, fosters, and creates a welcome home for immigrants, not an enabler of those who terrorize them. Again, rise to the challenge, and say no to the expo.

This is so important because when kids feel like they have no help or no one to talk to they take the wrong path which causes the juvenile crime rate raise and we need to make it go down.

We are now on the verge of a major war in the Middle East due to Trump's assassination of Iran's top military leader and further goading and threatening tweets. A war would kill countless Americans and people around the world.

Many of us have watched while on the state and the national stage public discourse has devolved into very public attacks against any individuals who cross Trump's path or oppose him or his followers. The state of New Hampshire has a sad history of harassment, especially from the right and within the walls of the state legislature. The current national climate has only given license to those parties who engage in harassing women, people of color and others who do not fit the "conservative" social narrative. We have noticed in particular, in the state house, a particular vitriol reserved for women members of the state legislature. From the current harassment and belittlement (calling her princess, telling her she is stupid, weak, receiving death threats, harassment directed at her being a woman, etc.) of Debra Stevens, to the the constant harassment and demands for censure of Representative Sherry Frost (Strafford, 18) that have occurred during her terms. The type of vicious harassment that women experience resembles the type of harassment many women experienced thirty years ago when they entered non-traditional employment. Today, nearly every place of employment has a sexual harassment policy in place. Today, nearly all workers and professionals everywhere have no problem working with women as colleagues and professional partners. The number of women in the state legislature has increased profoundly this past session, reflecting the increased participation across the board of women in public life. Yet only this session was a sexual harassment policy finally put in place; after solid repeated resistance when the House was GOP controlled. Those same members who voted against a sexual harassment policy now not only associate with those who regularly harass female members of the house, but these same members make a plea to Steve Shurtleff, claiming they feel harassed and misrepresented when a member shares her a story about the behavior of anti-gun control activists. They make this plea after they all deliberately assembled on Representative Steven's Facebook political page with the sole purpose of harassing her. They make this plea after the first vote of the Democratic controlled house which banned handguns on the state house floor caused a few state representatives to call a press conference claiming that they feel unsafe at the state house without a gun by their side. Yet they have had no problem associating with those who issue death threats, harass, cajole, bully and abuse their opponents, in particular women. Women who do not carry guns anywhere and yet have plenty of reason to feel unsafe everyday; just for their duty as state representatives and representing the issues the way the majority of their constituents who sent them there wish them to do. We feel that speaking up to these bullies is important and Steven Shurtleff showing leadership on this issue is absolutely essential. No state legislator or American citizen should ever feel their life might be in danger or their dignity or social good standing be jeopardized, simply for having a certain point of view. In particular, we ask that Speaker Shurtleff speak specifically as well to the harassment that the women on the Democratic side of the aisle have received for speaking their minds.

Donald Trump has put our country and the entire world on the edge of a catastrophic war in the Middle East by launching attacks against based on reportedly questionable evidence [See https://twitter.com/rcallimachi/status/1213421769777909761]. Trump is so out of control that he is now repeatedly threatening to commit war crimes by Iranian targets of cultural heritage. Destroying a country’s sites of cultural significance is classified as a war crime by not only the United Nations and the Geneva Convention, but also by Trump’s own Department of Defense per section 5.18 in its Law of War Manual. We are at this dark period of our country history because up until now House Democrats have not recognized the urgency of all our resistance against Trump. This is why they essentially gave him a blank check by approved a massive defensive spending bill before the Holidays which included funding for Trump's fantasy space force. Time is now for Speaker Pelosi and House Democratic Leadership to wage an all out resistance against Trump - and force him to back away from plunging us into a global catastrophe bringing destruction and losses of thousands of innocent of lives. Enough is enough. Congress cannot let Trump wage wars like a Tyrant without authorization. Democrats must do everything in their power to resist Donald Trump's reckless and dangerous march towards an all out catastrophic war against Ira by grinding the House of Representatives to a complete halt. Sign the petition urging Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats to immediately stop deliberation on all legislation related to government funding and cancel Trump's appearance at the State of the Union (#CancelSOTU) until we have real debate and hearings on Trump's war powers. No more Illegal wars. We need to speak out now. The louder we get - the more more it will create public pressure on Pelosi and Democrats to act and it will give them courage to resist.
