As of August 4, 2019, the United States has suffered 250 mass shootings, the majority of which have involved an assault rifle. We demand an end to this crisis through banning and outlawing the manufacturing, sale, ownership, trade, and possession of assault rifles. Florida’s Fruitland Park Police Department fired officers as high-ranking as the sheriff in 2009 and in 2014 after their Klan activities were revealed. As recently as 2018, a Georgia police officer was suspended for liking Facebook posts that promoted the KKK, a violent white supremacist group considered one of the first domestic terrorist organizations in U.S. history. White supremacists have been responsible for numerous killings of Black, Jewish and other minorities in just the last year. In April 2019, FBI Director, Christopher Wray, described white supremacy as a “persistent” and “pervasive” threat to the United States, according to CNN. Bonnie and her husband Stephen Clinton Kukla, age 67, are white supremacists and long-time members of the Ku Klux Klan. This website or app will help trans Americans because by allowing them to date earlier and will provide assistance to them. In today's society, it can be difficult for trans-Americans to get support from friends and family. They are often bullied, which is really unethical. If someone becomes a friend of a trans person and be very supportive of them they can become attracted to their friend or want a relationship with that friend, but if the person doesn't want a relationship this can be a problem. This can cause trans-Americans to lose friends in their teenage years and especially in college. There should be an app or website made to prevent this. I have personally been affected by this issue because I was very good friends with and was really supportive of someone who was transgender. She got attracted to me because I was being supportive of her. Her parents did not allow her to date early even though she probably liked me. I'm not sure if we are still friends or what we are now... I don't know if I would date her...Probably I would not because I'm not transgender. But, I believe there should be some support system in schools through guidance counselors and therapists who would work with Rachel Maddow and other people to create a website or app for trans-Americans. The app or website should provide inspirational quotes to help trans Americans from getting depressed in their teenage years and should emphasize that beauty comes from within. Often times transgender people are insecure about themselves, lack self-confidence. Some of them try putting on lots of makeup to feel like they are worth something. Often they feel worthless and that should stop.

The Town is considering severely limiting the number of bikes permitted to be parked at our beaches, particularly in Sandpiper Village. There is very little vehicular parking at our beaches and biking to the beach is the safest, most convenient method of transportation and has been permitted without restriction for 50 years. As an alternative the Town should consider the following: 1. Place Sandpiper bike racks in street rights of way to not reduce bike parking spots. 2. Convert some vehicular parking spaces to bike parking. 3. Restrict bike parking to residents and guests with town issued stickers. 4. Restrict bike access for outsiders through Cat Hill.

We need Michelle to assure a democratic victory and a strong capable president.

We have children in this area who need internet service for their school projects and we do not have any providers in our area. We can not stay competitive for our children's future or work from home without it.

I am appalled at the lawless behavior of this president as documented in the Mueller report. This president acts as if he is above the law. Such disregard for the rule of law by the person who is supposed to be upholding the law is a profound threat to our democracy. Congress must do its duty and begin an impeachment inquiry to hold this president accountable.
