In the mist of a Pandemic, it is criminal that all Americans don't have access to face masks, testing and respirators. Congress should not be debating economic stimulus packages while Americans are dying for lack of basic protection, testing and breathing devices.

Abortion care is a time-sensitive medical procedure that cannot be significantly delayed without profound consequences. As part of the continuum of pregnancy care, abortion is provided for almost one in five pregnancies in the United States. Ohioans are continuing to rely on their trusted community abortion providers during the coronavirus crisis, and Ohio’s elected officials should not stand between patients and their doctors. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, along with several other medical organizations, issued a statement calling abortion "...an essential component of comprehensive health care" and that the "...consequences of being unable to obtain an abortion profoundly impact a person’s life, health, and well-being." Tell the attorney general to stop playing political games with the reproductive health care of Ohioans.

It has exacerbated the wealth inequality in America. The national debt is spiking to $30 Trillion. We can't afford to take care of the wealthy and not take care of the people that need it.

This petition is important to encourage the president to act on his own suggestion. Especially medical prisoners need to be released so they can get the care they need to prevent coronavirus and for the medical challenges that sent them to specialized medical facilities. And to free prison resources to be used where needed.

As a group, the working class of Stockton have been financially devastated by the critical and necessary measures put in place to slow the spread of COVID-19. Though the federal or state government may eventually provide relief, the immediate conservation of our limited financial resources is necessary for our own and our family's health and well-being. Rentors, Leasors, banks and other relevant institutions can, as a class, seek their own relief; the state and federal government is much more responsive and historically more likely to act on their behalf. We must protect our limited cash flow immediately. What happens in May when I owe 2 months rent? Or June when I owe 3? I won't be evicted now because they don't want me on the streets but will they evict me then? The rent needs to be forgiven while I CANT WORK. What happens when the businesses who can't reopen fail and millions are looking for work? Rent and Mortgage moratorium (no rent or mortgage collection), forgiveness (you will never owe it), deferment (interest or payments are frozen and moved forward) are absolutely necessary to our current health and well being, and our economic future.

We call on you, Chairman Currie, to direct county chairs to proceed with all scheduled elections for County Committee. We reject any arbitrary attempts to extend County Committee terms, as it is unnecessary and unacceptable.

We, as Nevada Property Rights Alliance (NPRA), have been calling on municipalities and state lawmakers to get the rules preventing property owners from enjoying their constitutional rights for more than a year now in anticipation of another recession coming to our state inevitably. However, we did not expect this will be needed so much sooner. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, this requires immediate attention and action and will help everyone involved - those who are sharing their homes and those who need a furnished place to stay now.  Governor Sisolak, we are awaiting your leadership on this issue this week as soon as possible. It's time for an Emergency Declaration. Meanwhile, we hope Mayors and City Councils take immediate action if they understand the urgency of this and do not wait on the Governor to act. Tens of millions of people now face the choice between rent or food. Working class poor people who become unemployed do not and will not in the future have money for rent and back rent. What small resources they have must be freed for food purchases to both protect them from starvation and also to protect the food supply chain. This will also create solidarity, as we temporarily offer aid to landlords by freeing them from their mortgage obligations and we free the renting class from the facing a choice between starvation or later evictions. We must begin to help each other in ways we haven't thought of before by chosing to protect collective interests over the interests of individual groups. This is a matter of survival and maintaining civil society.

Rural Americans depend on internet access at all times. In the current crisis, access to up-to-date information and the ability work and be educated at home is truly critical. 15GB per month is utterly insufficient. Minimally effective internent access is essential for the health and economic well being of rural residents. Verizon can fix this with a flip of a switch. They must do so immediately.

They have family to take care.

The coronavirus doesn’t see borders. It doesn’t discriminate who it targets. If this tragic moment teaches us anything, it is that we are all connected — and in fighting this pandemic, we must all come together to survive. There are at least 18,000 people infected with COVID-19 in Iran and over 1,100 have already passed away – there’s good reason to think those numbers could be higher given the rate of the virus’ spread and the Iranian government’s tight censorship. As a community that cares about progressive foreign policy, we must reach across borders to push for sanctions on Iran to be suspended for at least 120 days. Steve Mnuchin, as Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, has the authority to suspend devastating sanctions on Iran that are impeding Iranian people’s ability to respond in the face of the global coronavirus pandemic.

Our very lives depend on muzzling this individual. If Mr. Trump suddenly disappeared from all media, as he well should have long before this crisis, we might have a shot at our lives returning to some semblance of normalcy.
