It's important to capture the minds of preteens and teenagers coming into man or womanhood. I really feel that a high school education should provide a young person a real chance at success. It's so unfortunate that a lot of millennials don't want to contribute to society by earning their keep. But I don't put the blame completely on the youth. Do to broken homes, minds,spirits,and poor parenting skills and a failing education system. We have so many young people rushing to be nothing, or a ball player, rapper, or drug dealer. So I've took upon myself to start petitioning to bring back vocational high schools starting with the one I graduated from in 1992 . Wymore Tech gave us opportunity to learn various different skills that captured students interest. Also it brought about a certain pride an admiration about yourself. That made your education the most important thing in your life. Knowing once you graduate you will have a certified trade, for a better chance at employment opportunities. Serenity was entrusted to the care of Alquans sister, Brittany McKinney, who did a most horrific act in shooting 3 people including Serenity, her own daughter and an elder man. Alquan is currently incarcerated in Ohio at Licking County Jail. They are denying him furlough. If this campaign is really about “Us”, I'd like to see the Bernie campaign bring more leadership in this regard. I don’t want this campaign to be about one 78-year-old white man (as awesome as he is). I want this campaign to be about the strong, diverse, deeply passionate, visionary LEADERS (emphasis on the plural) we need to get us out of this giant mess and into a bright future. Show us that future. Show us the strength of our diversity. Show us what a Sanders Administration would look like, sound like and act like. Introduce America to these people and help us get to know them.  Help us build trust in that broad coalition and not just in one man.  Help these leaders become household names as well. Help us clearly see the diverse coalition of leaders who could represent our hopes and our future. Don’t wait for the nomination to figure this out. Be different. Show me the “Us”! Show me women and people of color in the top leadership of your administration. Show me worker's rights leaders, indigenous leaders, LGBTQ leaders, immigrant-rights leaders. Show me youthful next generation leaders, please.  Show me small business leaders for local living economies and strong communities.  Show me advocates for farming, local livelihoods and functional ecosystems. Show me advocates for uplift of the poor. Show me environmental and climate justice leaders. You get the idea. Build me this coalition. Show me the "Us"! There are so many reasons why this would be a smart strategy: 1. This would be a powerful demonstration of this campaign’s most prominent value. It’s right there on the home page. 2. If the campaign is able to demonstrate its ability to a gather a diverse coalition of progressive leaders (in which women and people of color are strongly represented), don't you think that might help the campaign appeal to those communities? Just a thought! 3. This is not a traditional political strategy and that is GOOD.  This is a way to diversify the power of an American presidential campaign. This is also a powerful opportunity for the Sanders campaign to differentiate itself and show the American people that it is no ordinary political campaign. 4. A broadly-based coalition of leaders is more difficult to destabilize. 2020 is not an ordinary campaign year and Trump and the Republicans have demonstrated a zeal for foul play. To win, the Sanders campaign will need to be prepared for dirty tricks of all sorts. 5. Bernie is 78 years old. The wise and responsible course of action for such an elder leader is to use his name recognition to build a coalition of next-generation visionary leaders and introduce these leaders to the American people, pronto. America’s (and perhaps the world's) future should not depend solely on the heart health of one 78-year-old man. Let’s build a strong, resilient coalition of progressive leaders for a livable future. 6. By featuring a diverse coalition of leaders at the heart of his campaign, Bernie would be directly manifesting the democratic revolution that he claims to represent. Show me that revolution. Show me the “Us”!

As can be seen by the Presidential elections of 2000 and 2016, the current Electoral system can elect a candidate who receives a smaller portion of the popular vote. While this seems inherently unfair, there are those that feel that without the protection of the Electoral College, larger, more populous states would have the ability to dominate the smaller states and render their voices mute. This new proposal keeps the current protection of the smaller states. They receive the same number of votes, but it eliminates the inherent unfairness of the current winner-take-all system. This ensures that a conservative voter in a conservative district in an otherwise liberal state (or vice versa, a liberal in a conservative state) would actually have a voice in the presidential election, it would matter how they vote. Since every vote would matter, it would encourage more people to vote.

Because people are out here starving , no food to eat and children are under nourished and can't focus because they're hungry. Parents don't know whether to pay bills or feed families and we throwing food away by the tons on a daily basis like that's the right thing to do all because people worrying about being sued.

BREAKING: Attorney General William Barr’s fully politicized Department of Justice is taking “full control of legal matters of interest to President Trump.” This power grab has provoked at least 4 U.S. Attorneys to resign from Roger Stone's case in protest -- and it’s urgent that Congress responds. Barr’s first move was to walk back the proposed sentence for convicted felon and former Trump adviser Roger Stone -- just hours after Trump tweeted his displeasure at Stone being held accountable for his actions. Attorney General Barr has made one thing entirely clear: he has no intention of serving the American people. As long as he’s in office, he will continue to abuse his power -- and act like President Trump’s personal lawyer. The Attorney General is supposed to defend our nation and our Constitution by making sure no one -- not even the president -- is above the law. And with a president like Trump, who’ll do whatever it takes to get his way, a strong and independent Attorney General couldn’t be more vital. But instead, Barr is twisting the mandate of his office to do the president’s bidding. This comes after he brazenly misled the American public about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s findings to cover for his boss -- and his Department of Justice attempted to bury the whistleblower complaint that kickstarted Trump’s impeachment. The American people will no longer sit idly by as Attorney General Barr defends and obeys a president who has committed multiple impeachable offenses. We must call on Congress to take back our democracy -- by impeaching Barr and removing him from office.

The Trump administration is leading the United States into an unnecessary and illegal war with Iran. Since day one of his presidency, Donald Trump has pushed our country towards a war with Iran. He filled his cabinet with warmongers like Mike Pompeo; pulled out of the historic and successful Iran nuclear deal; embarked on a “maximum pressure” campaign that sent thousands more U.S. troops to the Middle East; and imposed crippling economic sanctions on Iran. The assassination of Qassem Soleimani, a senior Iranian military leader, is just the latest unilateral action by this administration that has brought us to the brink of war. There is no greater urgency than right now, and we need you to get loud. Add your name and tell Congress to act immediately to stop a catastrophic war with Iran.

Donald Trump and his administration made this reckless, history-altering decision with NO Congressional approval. His actions have put our entire country, including every American and allied troop in the region, at risk. If we enter into a war with Iran it could take the lives of thousands, even millions of people. As veterans, we have seen the destruction of a senseless war. There is no strategy, no reasoning, and no point to a war with Iran. That’s why we cannot allow Donald Trump to sign off this unnecessary bloodshed — Congress must take action and block this war.

Dolores Clara Fernández Huerta is an American labor leader and civil rights activist who, with Cesar Chavez, is a co-founder of the National Farmworkers Association, which later became the United Farm Workers (UFW). Huerta helped organize the Delano grape strike in 1965 in California and was the lead negotiator in the workers' contract that was created after the strike. Huerta has received numerous awards for her community service and advocacy for workers', immigrants', and women's rights, including the Eugene V. Debs Foundation Outstanding American Award, the United States Presidential Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Human Rights and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She was the first Latina inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame, in 1993. Huerta is the originator of the phrase, "Sí, se puede" (Yes, we can). As a role model to many in the Latino community, Huerta is the subject of many corridos (Mexican or Mexican-American ballads) and murals. In California, April 10 is Dolores Huerta day. This cause is important because Father’s are portrayed to be deadbeat because the state takes all their money and doesn’t help enforce their visitation rights. These systems were put in place to help the people and to work for the people but instead, creates a cycle that only benefits the interest of the state. It is important and time we get our voices heard and that changes be made. Shared parenting is the best interest of the children’s. Children need both parents in their life. If you’re going to enforce Child Support Laws, then Visitation laws should also be enforced. Families need to be kept together because it can lead to many mental health issues. We need to break the cycle of fatherless homes. The system needs to put kids first. Shared parenting needs to be the default parenting plan. The OAG should not take child support to the point where it leaves noncustodial parents unable to be able to live. Im asking for help from the Texas Government to let our voices be heard. Don’t tear families apart. Parents want to be a part of their children’s lives.
