Isolated or Solitary Confinement is an abused and often inhumane form of punishment which confines an inmate to a cell for 22 or more hours a day with severely restricted activity, movement, and social interaction. Bill A314 creates statewide regulation which would protect vulnerable populations, such as children, the elderly, those who suffer developmental disabilities or mental illnesses, pregnant women, and the LGBT community from being placed into solitary confinement. It would also cap the duration of confinement to 15 consecutive days, after which the United Nations defines as “torture”. Lastly, it would require psychological evaluation prior to and during confinement, and provide limitations on how and why this form of punishment can be used, making it a last resort option available only in situations when lives are threatened. As 8th graders, we here to speak for the rest of our student body and Camden City School district. In the winter, most of our schools are too cold. In the summer, most of our Schools are too hot. We need to see how many teachers/community members' signatures we can get by March 9, 2018.

We are starting this petition because throughout the years we have noticed that there are a lot of unnecessary houses that are being built. People should be concerned about this issue because this will cause a huge increase in pollution rates and a huge decrease in the amount of organisms that live in New York.

The intelligence community is waiting for President Trump's permission before they begin the process to protect and defend our election system. This is unconscionable. We the people demand that this protection process begin immediately without waiting for President Trump's permission.

Our community pool is within 600 feet of the tower, which is at the beginning of our development and where everyone gets a first impression when visiting, but more importantly when looking to purchase a home in our community. My home is very close to the tower site, which means I will see it every day when I go out the front door. I am concerned about the waves the tower puts off which can have health implications for my family. Health of my family, eyesore every day for me and my community, and decreased home values are why I am staring this petition.

We, the citizens of Las Cruces, NM support Las Cruces High School and the Baseball program with the naming of their baseball practice facility to “DAVE GRAHAM FIELD”. Coach Graham’s teaching and coaching career spans 5 decades. He begun in 1961 at Lynn Junior High School where he taught Physical Education and coached football, basketball, and track. In 1963 he moves to Las Cruces High School and in 1965 he became the Head Coach for Las Cruces High School where he would coach Bulldawg Baseball for 27 years.

It has been way too long of a wait just to be getting a new skate park due to the fact that skaters are destroying properties of others by skateboarding on them and sometimes even vandalizing people's properties and businesses. Northern Miami Beach area is in need of new skate parks. There are many skateboarders in Miami going long distances just to have a place to use their skateboards without being harassed by property owners. So skateboarders deserve and need new skate parks to skate in peace and focus on themselves.

Meadowdale is a neighborhood school; there are kids that been going there since pre-k. Meadowdale High School is a great school and for them to shut it down is not the way to go, so let us (the community) come as one and fight for our school “Where To Be A Lion Is Majestic”.

We believe the purchase of the land should benefit all residents of Albany County and provide as many economic opportunities as possible to sustainably manage the land. Allowing organized and designated recreational motorized use on a portion of the property will allow for additional future revenue and economic benefits to help provide for financial sustainability of the Pilot Hill Property and Albany County.

Puppies are being enslaved against their free will in many countries including the U.S. Our hope at the Adam Fugere Foundation is to outlaw the enslavery of puppies. Puppies have rights too. This has to be stopped.
