As young people, we bear the biggest burden from gun violence, regardless of our political leanings. Bullets don’t discriminate between Democrats and Republicans when they are flying through the air in a school, a neighborhood, or a church. Oftentimes, it is our friends, brothers, and sisters who are hurt or killed when these bullets find their targets.Our generation is building a national coalition of old and young, rich and poor, across all races and ethnicities, who are fed up with the constant stream of tragedies that have occurred due to a failure of our elected officials to take action. We need these bills to be brought to the table to usher in new laws that defend our Constitutional rights, preserve our liberties, and protect the lives of our fellow citizens.

Because I have friends that are Filipinos. They would love to come over here to visit. We Americans can go over to the Philippines without a visa. I think it would only be fair that the Filipino people can come to America without a visa as long as they have a passport.

I am creating this petition to hopefully prevent jaywalking across a busy road. I have seen students jaywalk across Austin Bluffs Parkway and cars having to swerve out of their way to prevent hitting the person.

A long anticipated explicit, xenophobic, Islamophobic, racist attack against Dr. El-Sayed was launched earlier this month. The hate speech did not come from a fringe organization but from Republican candidate for governor Patrick Colbeck. Mr. Colbeck made an unfounded outlandish accusation that Abdul was part of an extremist conspiracy to take over the country. According to Buzzfeed, he made those remarks at an event held by United West. The group has been classified as an “active anti-Muslim group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks the activity of hate organizations. “While it came as no surprise, we didn’t feel any less disgusted,” said Ayman Khafagi, the Vice Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party (MDP) Progressive Caucus. “We believe that the comments are disqualifying and should not be tolerated.” Kelly Collison, the Chair of the MDP Progressive Caucus added: “We believe that we should stand in solidarity and boycott every entity that continues to associate with Mr. Colbeck. Mr. Colbeck and his like should have no place in politics.” The MDP Progressive Caucus condemns the Republican candidate’s remarks and calls upon all political entities to join us in standing up to bigotry.

We feel strongly that USC should set an example of what proper recycling hygiene looks like. It starts with appropriate infrastructure, and we can build up from there with new, creative innovations and solutions.

My petition is about students at volusia county schools not wanting to wear uniforms. Just because they are a few kids who decide to wear things that are "inappropriate" does not mean all students should be punished for it. They think it will solve bullying, but bullies still find a way to bully. They could easily bully someone about buying a walmart polo than a aeropostale. So our clothing shouldn't be the thing that is addressed it should be bullying.

Because AH in the UK refuses to let the parents of Alfie Evan travel to give their son medical care, the Hospital is preventing them from leaving, ensuring their 2-year-old son's death!!!

Having done research into area school districts, we find that Copley is the only school that requires the journaling aspect as part of the PE option.

This Petition is about preserving Amtrak's Network of Long Distance Trains for future generations to enjoy. I am starting this petition for the following two reasons; one, I cannot imagine the United States being the only Major Country in the world that does not have a national Rail Network, and two Amtrak serves a lot of people, some of these people either do not like to fly or cannot fly for a number of reasons. This issue is very important to me because, in 2015 I was in an accident, due to this accident I have Sciatica in my left leg, and lower back pain. Due to this accident I cannot wait in long lines, nor can I fly.
