  • Allow New York Voters to change political party affiliation for presidential primary elections.
Voters are restricted from realigning with a political party before they know where the party stands and which candidates they will support. Voters who have been registered Independent or Non-Affiliated are disproportionately effected by Sec. 5-304 (enrollment, change of enrollment or new enrollment by previously registered voters), which prohibits them from changing parties. And, they cannot change affiliation to vote for candidates they currently support. Voters who wish to change party affiliation should be able to do so before the registration deadline of the presidential primary and not be restricted by waiting for the general election.

  • Reject HB757 and the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA)
This harmful legislation would set our state back years. And it doesn't just impact LGBT Georgians. By allowing tax-payer funded organizations to discriminate and refuse services, while still receiving federal and state grants, Georgia lawmakers risk putting unmarried couples, women, racial minorities, religious minorities, people living with disabilities, and more in the line of fire.

  • Put a Stop to the Privatization of Prisons in Colorado
Racism is a business and like any other business when faced with opposition, the business adapts and changes with the times. There is a plethora of businesses that flourish off of racial related issues and the privatization of prisons is no exception. Colorado spends over $2 million of our taxpayer money on private prisons. Let's put a stop to this corrupt business and make a dent in the racial issues our country faces on a daily basis.

It's what Democracy is all about. When "The Voters" vote, their decision should drive the results - not that of a super delegate.

  • Vote "No" on HB4013 Voter ID Bill
This BARRIER to REPRESENTATION, HB4013, will now be voted on by the Senate Judiciary. West Virginia’s Republican-controlled House passed a bill which would require voters to show one of several types of ID cards before voting. Some West Virginia lawmakers claim the bill is little more than an effort to suppress participation from elderly and minority voters, that this bill will only lead to further disenfranchisement of voters. Voter ID laws only prevent “voter impersonation” — someone pretending to be someone else — and that there have been NO reported cases of voter impersonation in West Virginia! Let your voice be heard and say "NO" to Voter ID Laws in West Virginia!

  • Extend Michigan Civil Rights Protection to the LGBT community
Michigan business leaders know that equal protection for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, is good for business. It's also the right thing to do. Michigan is behind the times on this issue. You can still be fired or denied housing for being gay or transgender, and it's perfectly legal here in the mitten! It's long past time to amend Michigan's civil rights laws to protect every Michigander equally.

  • Defend Erek Slater! Reinstate him!
Union member fired for defending his co-workers and their contract. This is an attack on public employees and union members everywhere. It is an example of Mayor Rahm Emanuel's anti-worker policies that hurt teachers, public workers, CTA workers, and working families throughout Chicago.
