I moved to Florida seven years ago. To date every election that has taken place, i.e. Presidential, state, and local, has resulted in numerious recounts, with the hopes of changing the actual results. The state and local government should give the citizens of Florida some credit for seeing this for what it really is...Another way to control the outcome of elections for the benefit of a few...Lets put a stop to this kind of government...

In the recent past elections Thousands of voters were disenfranchised due to lack of drivers licenses and many other corrupt and disfunctional processes mandated by various regional elections chairmans, partial to only one Party.Seniors who don't drive anymore and College Students who don't own cars, don't have driver's licenses/ID cards.

'Long lines at voting locations' make our State the laughing stock of our country and the world. Allowing rediculous amendments on the same ballot as candidates only expands the time in the voting booth. Reducing the budget for Election districts is another contributing factor.

we saw how many people were standing in lines that were way too long and our right to vote was trying to be taken away by the republicans ,thinking the people would give up and go home and not vote . instead it made them even more strong and all the money that was allowed the republicans to use to work over the voting system didn't work . the people will fight this playing with the electorial votes to fix the voting so the republicans can win ,because they are so unpopular thats the only way they can win . as our president stated this was an important issue as is the republicans trying to get rid of social security ,medicare and medicade . we paid for these as we worked so they aren't entitlements they were earned ,by our hard work . jobs ,schooling ,the rights of women are all being targeted with and it's time to stop playing games with our lives ,and instead of spending your time attacking the president ,instead do your real job and keep you hands off the vothing rights ,medicare ,medicade and social security . i feel STRONGLY if the congress isn't doing their jobs again for the next four years then why pay them . if i haden't done my job i wouldn't have been paid and would have been fired . i WILL vote against every republican if this game they are playing doesn't stop ,and your blaming everything on our president ,just because he is for the poor and disabled ,and the republicans don't have a heart like our president they are for themselves and the rich . leave us alone and stop blaming the president for what busch did to ruin this country . signed totally disgusted !!!!delores and david roxbury

Here we sit paying more in support than we bring home. Due to the laws going on the previous years income. My husbands job is based on natural disasters. If no tragedy he dosent make money. And we have to wait until February of each year to reapply for a reduction. Wasting the courts taxpayers and our time. One year he made 52k the following year 40k and was made to pay support of the 52k from the previous year. While I sit and fight tooth and nail for the 2.25 I get monthly. Very sad. As well as having a child over 18 not living at home and with their own income and I am supposed to be responsible for the medical until they are 21. How come the father is not responsible?

My Aunt Ivory Ellis was placed in the nursing home against her well after being in the hospital. When the family located her in the nursing home, Harris County Guardianship was contacted. The Harris County Guardianship Program mislead the Courts about contacting the next of kin. Harris County was appointed as guardian over Mrs. Ivory Ellis. But at this point Sherry Fox( over the Guardianship Program, and Dana Dexler (appointed lawyer for Harris County) refuses to release Ms. Ivory Ellis to the care of her family. Harris County, stated to the family "YOU MAY HAVE THE PERSON BUT NOT THE ESTATE." They have take all of Ivory Ellis property and her Estate. The State of Texas is making million's of dollars off the estate of our young at heart. Please help Cancel this bill.

people take children out of state and parents and grandparents dont get to see the kids any more. the other parent pays child support, but cant have a relationship with their children. the mother of my grandson moved to idaho with my grandson and is staying hid so we cant serve her with visitation papers from the courts in mansfield, ohio.

Unfortunately, too many states deny individuals who have served their required time in prison upon their release, restored rights as citizens. After being released from incarceration, by denying the "Right to Vote", their punishment continues, thus preventing them from participating again as restored citizens within the community. Denying the Right to Vote, upon completing the required punishment determined for a crime against the community, is "cruel and unusual punishment". The Eighth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution forbids “cruel and unusual punishments”. If after, someone has “paid their debt” to society and they are released, but still being punished in some states, but not others, is their right of citizenship protected under federal law ? If they are continually “punished” for their previous crime how will they be accepted back into the community of man to participate fully as a citizen of their community and nation ? The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that the Eighth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution’s Cruel and Unusual Punishment Clause applies to the states. Since states view the “Right to Vote”, after incarceration, so differently for committing the same crime doesn’t this violate the U. S. Constitution ?
