Protecting our children from assault weaponsI own two pre-schools and have two little granddaughters the age of the Sandy Hook victims. I am outraged at the NRA's proposal to put armed guards in every school instead of common sense gun regulation. This petition is an attempt to take their position to the ultimate level.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Debbie Cook

REPEAL THE SECOND AMENDMENTMy home was the target of a 16 year old with a high powered rifle. Fortunately, no one was home. Bullets came through the living room window and out through the back wall of the house.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rudolph Renwick Garypie

keep families togetherkeeping families together. My sister is disabled and a mother of 4 and they are deporting her husband and father of the children. I feel if they have children here they should be able to stay and work to take care of the family they have here and see to it they have a place to live and food to eat. People fus because their are to many on welfer but they are send home the men that keep the women off of it. I feel that in order to make things better we must first make it rite.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by JoShannon Flores

Social Security Benefit CutsSocial security benefits have been paid by the workforce and their employers for years and the government has mismanaged these funds to the extent that they say they are now going to have to reduce benefits to keep the program solvent. Why is it always the people who can least afford a "Pay" cut, the ones who have to bail out the nation because of reckless political spending.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jim Grabber

Gun owners personal liability lawI believe that if people would be held liable for their guns they would be more diligent about keeping them locked up. almost everyone I grew up with hunted & owned a variety of guns. kids and irresponsible family members could not gain access to them.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Kevin S. Don't Teach Violence-No Guns in Schools!Armed guards at school and armed school personnel would imply that school violence is inevitable. It isn't-- and its only being proposed to protect the political agenda of the NRA. Assault weapons need to be banned NOW.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mary Olinger

Start a PAC to Combat the Influence of the NRAThere is no reason why Americans should be constrained by the NRA's political influence. We need to start our own PAC to support legislators who will pass systemic gun control We need to stop being afraid of the NRA14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Smith

Stop The Gun Slaughtering In AmericaToo many Americans have been slaughtered by permissive gun laws in this country. Even after the murder of 20 elementary school children the NRA and too many politicians do not get the message that this must stop. The time has come for the citizens of this great country to have their voices heard.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robert H. Tamis, MD
