Tell Santorum: Stay out of Washington! The lead opponents of Washington marriage equality have invited Rick Santorum to help them raise money for their efforts next week. Yes, you heard that right -- Rick Santorum. This is someone who has spent his entire career insulting and degrading gays and lesbians every chance he got. Same-sex marriage? To Rick Santorum, that is literally the greatest threat to homeland security. These guys aren't moderates. They don't respect loving gay and lesbian couples and their families. They're extremists, pure and simple. They are way, way out of the mainstream. Let's tell Rick Santorum to stay home and keep his right-wing bigoted views to himself. Join us now and help us send a message before his two events next week.94 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Zach Silk

I demand that Rep. Bill Johnson publicly call for Secretary Husted to reinstate early voting on w...Our democracy guarantees every citizens right to vote. Across the country in 40 states, the GOP controlled legislatures proposed and in many stes enacted legislation to disenfranchise voters in the fall. A majority of the laws were rebuked by the courts as was Ohio. Secretary Husted has refused to adhere to the courts ruling and in a partisan way has chosen to limit early voting by nearly 50%. This is a coordinated GOP stragedy to steal the election for Mitt Romney and disenfranchise voters who are poor, senior, and minorities and who vote by a majority democratic. As a constituent, I call on Rep. Bill Johnson to fight for our right to vote and call on Secretary Husted to reinstate early voting on weekends from now until Election Day.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Horkulic

Rep. Latta: Tell Secretary Husted to reinstate weekend votingThis petition is about reinstating early voting on the weekends here in Ohio. We used to have this right. Secretary of State Jon Husted took it away from us. If our representative, Bob Latta, publicly calls for Husted to reinstate weekend voting, there could be a chance for reinstatement prior to Election Day.217 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Sarah Maxwell

Reinstate Weekend Early Voting In OhioWe live in an area where there is little to no public transportation and where people do not have the luxury of having Election Day off to vote. In order to encourage widespread participation in our democratic process, we need to reinstate the weekend early voting times that have been taken away from us.262 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Linda Nowakowski

Early Voting in Ohio - reinstate weekendsThis petition is about early voting in Ohio and to have it extended for weekends until Voting Day on November 6. Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted provided early voting, but eliminated weekends; not looking at people would work/have obligations on weekdays and can't get out and vote. That is why I am here to write this petition. Please sign and make your voice heard and your vote count!3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jay Batch

Change the absurd early voter hours in OhioThe Republican leadership of Ohio, in a very partisan move, have restricted the early voting hours this election year to 8-5 M-F, effectively making this a useless option for most working voters. Please join me in petitioning Secretary of State Jon Husted, who is responsible for this attempt to discourage voters, to shift their staff to provide broader hours of operation. I'm almost certain that they could adjust people's schedules to allow evening and weekend voting without increasing expenses, if they were only willing to be creative instead of obstructive. It should be easy for all Ohioans to vote, not just those who are wealthy and powerful enough to choose their own daily schedules.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rob Tromp

Repeal Voter ID in PennsylvaniaPennsylvania's Voter ID/Voter Suppression Law was put on hold by a temporary injunction granted by Commonwealth Court Judge Robert Simpson. This is only a temporary injunction, stopping its implementation for the 2012 election. Now we need to repeal this anti-democracy bill for 2013 and beyond. Send your message to Gov. Corbett and your state representative and senator urging repeal.9,086 of 10,000 SignaturesCreated by Michael Morrill

AND JUSTICE FOR ALLOn Sunday, Sept. 30th, 2012 a Lt. in the Philadelphia Police Dept. assaulted an innocent women. They officer, whom had his back turned, assumed the women threw water on police. There's footage of the incident. you can clearly see it wasn't her. As of right now the officer is on desk duty which is absurd. I am personally affected because it took place at a cultural event where we as civilians are suppose to be able to enjoy and feel safe. This officer needs to be brought to justice with an appropriate punishment, not desk duty and pay.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ivan Cuevas
