The Murdoch family should not be allowed to profit at the expense of a family's loss of a child. Any American citizen or any individual with a moral conscious should do everything possible to constantly remind those around them that Murdoch's British news tabloid, News International, willfully and shamelessly used illegally obtained voice mails of murdered teenager Milly Dowler and others for personal profit.

We are fighting to save our home, we have been ignored by the person that is assigned to us, which are called perservation specialists. You call and get to talk to everyone but her. We leave messages which are never returned. The answering machine tells you that you will receive a call back in 24-48 hours. Which we have never received, not even when a message is left for the supervisor who is over this person. We need help as our home is now in foreclosure with no sale date yet! Our mortgage is with ASC (American Servicing Company) which is a part of Wells Fargo. My husband has been ill, on and off work for sometime. The overtime that he use to get is not there anymore. Will you please help us try and get someone to help us in this endeavor. We cannot afford to lose our home, we are seniors just trying to make it. We have done everything that we were asked to do, in order to make this happen.

Proctor and Gamble is advertising ZzzQuil as a "new sleep aid". It is not new, but merely Benadryl (Diphenhydramine), an old allergy medication that has been on the market for a very long time.

It's outrageous that mainstream media is not reporting on the filibuster of the Veteran's Jobs Corp bill. This is a perfect example of what is wrong with our corporate owned media.

There is a constant issue with oil prices and the drilling for oil in the United States. It is my understanding approximately half of our oil is exported. The public should be aware of what is happening to our domestic oil before we open up our coasts and Alaska to more drilling. Oil companies should give a quarterly report on how many millions of barrels of our oil they are exporting.

Alice Smith, foster mother to 5 special needs children, is facing eviction by Penny Mac and Citibank. In 2009, Citibank offered her a loan modification over the phone and she made a payment. A few months later, they sent her payment back and denied the modification they initially offered her. She has been fighting Citibank ever since. Now, Penny Mac, who Citibank sold the loan to, is evicting Alice and her foster family Wednesday, Oct. 3rd. We are DONE with banks making mistakes and working families having to pay. Demand that CEO's of Penny Mac and Citibank stop the eviction and offer her an affordable loan modification.

GMO foods have slowly been intergrated into our everyday food sources, leaving the public completely unaware. Now, there is a movement to push them more directly into our stores WITHOUT labeling! GMOs are one of the leading causes, if not the main cause of most major diseases and disorders affecting children and adults worldwide. Autism, ADD/ADHD, Neurological disorders and birth defects are just a few of the disorders directly associated with GMOs. Recently, Wal-Mart has agreed to put non-labeled GMO corn in their stores to sell directly to the consumer, creating yet another long list of problems. They are refusing to make the consumer aware of exactly what it is they are purchasing and consuming. Monsanto, the producer of these GMO seeds and other toxic chemicals being used to spray our foods refuses to accept any accountability. Monsanto Director of Corporate Communications Phil Angel said, ”Monsanto should not have to vouch for the safety of biotech food. Our interest is in selling as much of it as possible. Assuring its safety is the FDA’s job." (According to a report from the New York Times) GMOs are not only destroying those that plant it and those that consume it, but they are also destroying the land and animals. Many states are rallying against this non-labeling, but in order to have true success, we all must band together and stop this mass murder through food and take back our power from Monsanto and other big corporations in making decisions for us.

California's Proposition 32 claims to eliminate special interests (code for Labor and Labor Unions) from contributing to elections. However this proposition is written by and for the true special special interests and specifically exempts them from it. Those who would be exempt, to name a few, are Insurance corporations, Wall Street, real estate investment corporations, oil companies, corporate CEO's. The goal of this proposition deceitfully to get you to vote to silence your own voices and to make election funding even more unequal than it is. They are targeting California because we have traditionally gone Democratic in elections, and to test the waters. They seek to cut off the flow of information to the people and money to all campaigns but those they seek to buy. Please sign this petition to tell the legislators and governor of California if you are outraged that only corporations will be able to pay to get their message out and fund campaigns. Or constitution was written for humans, this is just one more step that the ultraconservative rightwing is planning to get your name crossed off and enter the name "Big Powerful Corporation that Sends Jobs to China" on the voter rolls.

Since the Citizen's United supreme court decision, corporations (both for-profit and not-for-profit) have the ability to spend unlimited amounts in political speech. These legal entities should lose their limited liability for these activities. Thus the owners (shareholders and/or donors) must be made public, and the owners must be informed and agree with the political speech.
