• Mental Health Tax on Gun Sales
With the recent tragic events at Sandy Hook Elementary it becomes clear that mental health issues in our country are integrally involved in mass shootings around our country. It is appropriate that an excise tax on gun sales be put into place in order to fund mental health programs that will be in place in early childhood to assist parents in parenting and obtaining mental health services for their children. A sales tax, similar to that imposed on cigarette manufactures, would provide much needed funding for mental health services.

  • NO DEAL is the BEST DEAL !
The "fiscal cliff" is actually, a "fiscal slope". Without a deal, the Bush tax cuts expire and the upper 2% will have to again pay income taxes. The senate can then introduce a bill that reinstates the cuts to the middle class. Republicans will have to help pass that bill to avoid further jeopardizing their future elections.

  • Share aThe Wealth!
CEO's are making millions of dollars, Corporations are making billions of dollars a year. The people at the bottom such as cashiers, cooks, service reps that are dealing with the public are bringing in the revenue and keeping money in your pockets. It is not the job of the Government to give your employees Medical Assistance. It is also not the Governments job to give your employees food stamps to feed their families. Share the wealth and be fair to the employees that are helping you keep your job.
