No more risks! It is important because our love ones can get the disease, as we can too. All employees were exposed to this person who came out positive to Covid-19. Employees don't want to bring this disease to our loved ones. Some of these employees have new born or even month old babies and children, who are a high risk group.211 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Rosa Garcia

Sen. Gardner, Support The CORE Act!April 30th marks 6 MONTHS since the Colorado Outdoor Recreation and Economy (CORE) Act passed in the U.S. House of Representatives. The CORE Act is the most significant and broadly-supported effort to protect Colorado’s cherished lands, waters, and forests in a generation. This crucial legislation, sponsored by Senator Michael Bennet and Congressman Joe Neguse, would protect wilderness areas, clean water supplies, and wildlife migration corridors and habitat, while also creating sustainable recreation opportunities. Despite all the good it would do for Colorado, Senator Cory Gardner has yet to express his support for this crucial legislation. For decades, local communities have been supporting pieces of legislation and calling for protection of historic sites, recreation areas, unspoiled wilderness lands, and waterways and wildlife habitats through individual pieces of legislation. Senator Bennet and Congressman Neguse's work on this legislation recognizes the growing support for a comprehensive effort to permanently protect these places for future generations. The CORE Act would provide important protections for key watersheds, helping to safeguard pristine drinking water supplies for local communities, from the western slope to the front range. It would also safeguard headwaters, local streams, and gold medal trout fisheries like Blue River, Gore Creek, and the Animas River, which are enjoyed by anglers near and far. Further, the bill would preserve healthy wildlife habitat by protecting key areas from road building, new mines and oil and gas drilling, and other activities that would degrade wildlife habitat and watershed values. It would continue to safeguard backcountry hunting opportunities and important big game habitat on our public lands across the state, in addition to protecting habitat for black bear, bighorn sheep, mountain goat, sage grouse, moose, lynx, wild turkey, and the rare wolverine. We should all get behind these goals. Millions of people visit Colorado’s iconic public lands and landmarks each year to recreate and this bill would preserve access to those places for future generations to enjoy. Now is the time for all of Colorado’s elected officials to join veterans, sportsmen, community leaders, conservationists, business owners, county officials, and voters from across the state, in protecting public lands for the future. Sign this petition and demand that Senator Gardner defends our economy, our quality of life, and our health by supporting the CORE Act.1,459 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Rocky Mountain Values

Hazard pay for truck driversTruck drivers keep the country going; they are putting themselves at risk of contracting Covid-19 each and every day as they continue to do their jobs, delivering food, mail, paper items, cleaning supplies, clothing, along with every other product that keeps America from spiraling into chaos.280 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Kendra Crisler

Thank You, Governor BullockIn view of recent protests, including at our Capitol, we the undersigned hereby support our Governor, Steve Bullock, in his courageous stand to uphold Shelter In Place. The economy will recover, but lives lost are gone forever. Protecting our families is of utmost importance. Meanwhile, please continue to seek out ways to help those hit the hardest financially. Please do not consider relaxing environmental protections. Without clean air, water and land, life will be considerably worse for Montanans who depend upon tourism, Montana's best resource.990 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Susan Evans

Demand Testing and Tracing - The Only Safe Path to Restart the Economy. We all want to go back to work! And need to! The gross mismanagement of the Coronavirus Pandemic throughout this year, the mixed messages, and the lack of a coordinated response to the facts has been fatal. We are sadly the Global Epicenter of this disaster, more cases and more deaths growing daily. This could have been stopped in its tracks! Just recently, the White House set out a phased plan to open the country gradually, to make sure that when people return to work they and co-workers do not carry the virus. Less than two days later, Trump tweets, 'Liberate Minnesota: Liberate Michigan: Liberate Virginia,' encouraging people to VIOLATE his stay at home, social-distancing phased plan, and stunning his pandemic experts and everyone else. This perverse outburst also had the effect of dividing us, by creating a group that feels empowered to defy the rules we have all been following. This is the worst possible dilemma in our brave fight for the survival of our society. Most of the Country’s Governors have told the Trump Administration over and over they do not have the capability to test a sufficient percentage of their population. The Trump team continues to distort the truth. Vice President Pence repeats daily that there are bountiful tests and labs available around the country'. The Governors say he is “delusional.” No one wants to go back to work, sit on a crowded bus, subway or plane, or go into a restaurant with the reasonable possibility that they will get sick and be hospitalized. Citizens must Protest! In our neighborhoods! We must be heard! Create signage for your window, car, or front lawn. "EVERYONE MUST BE TESTED! Write a letter to the Editors of your local paper." Talk to your local Politicians and Community organizations. Demand action. Write to the White House and your Congresspersons. Testing is the only path back to normal. Hair Salons / ONE CLIENT AT A TIME (Soft Opening May 18th)Our industry needs to reopen and be recognized as an essential business so we can better serve our community. Serving one client at a time while wearing a mask (stylist also wearing a mask and gloves ) poses little or no risk of spreading the virus, as compared to 20 or more people allowed in a grocery store or other big box stores with little or no health protocols in place. The survival of the independent beauty professionals is at risk ! We are facing grave financial hardship !82 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lisa Papa

No stimulus without helping people in needTime is running out to stop Congress from making a disastrous deal that gives Donald Trump almost everything he wants. Congress is debating the next stimulus bill, and over the weekend news broke that Democratic leaders might agree to a bill that doesn't include funds for the unemployed, doesn't include help for the postal service, doesn't provide vote by mail for the November election. That's bad enough. But the bill also doesn't include any funds for state and local governments. Trump wants to hold that funding hostage to force states to cave to far right protestors and end their lockdowns early, even if it's unsafe. And Democrats appear willing to let him. We have to stop this. Now.28 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Demand Progress
