• Elected Representatives
Too often I ,like many other Electric Vehicle drivers, arrive at an EV charging station only to find it already occupied by a traditional Internal Combustion Engine powered vehicle. We need a national or state law mandating tow-away zones for the parking spaces adjacent to any charging station or next to any charging station. Also , a standard logo and color scheme should be adopted and mandated to demarcate all such parking spaces. This would be analogous to Handicapped labeled parking.

  • Stabilizing US Population
It is about setting an example to the world, being the leader of the free world. The world's human population has already crossed 7 billion and is climbing rapidly towards 9 billion. Green house gas emiisions are directly proportional to human population, if you are concerned about those, you should support population stabilization. China is the only country which has shown leadership on this critical issue. High time we set an example to the world.

  • Stop the Insanity - Save Cummins Hill Road, Milford PA
Tennessee Gas is about to create a new 7-mile pipeline through our community and destroy wildlife areas and kill thousands of trees when they could use an EXISTING 1-mile pipeline that is already there and they already have rights to. This new pipeline will be used to carry fracked natural gas through our neighborhood and next to our school.

  • Safe Fracking!
Hydraulic Fracturing or “fracking” is the process of obtaining natural gas, by drilling into shale rock formations. Many federal regulations that are in place now prevent environmental agencies like the EPA from making rules on fracking. We need to pass the FRAC Act (Fracturing Responsibility and Awareness to Chemicals Act) in order to force fracking companies to disclose what chemicals they use.

  • Protect Bristol Bay
Bristol Bay is one of our most pristine national treasures. Its ecosystem supports fishing and tourism job from Alaska to Washington. But a new environmental impact report suggests that a new mine in the area might put all of this at risk, threatening wildlife and jobs. Join me in asking to block the mine if further research confirms that it will harm the ecosystem, kill wildlife, and destroy jobs.

  • Tell KFC to Stop Rainforest Destruction Before It's Too Late
Greenpeace's researchers have discovered KFC's secret recipe and it's rainforest destruction. KFC throw-away packaging contains rainforest fiber from Indonesia's rainforest. That's right. KFC is destroying the habitat of the last remaining Sumatran tigers for potato wedges and 12-piece buckets of extra crispy chicken. It's disgusting

  • Say NO to coal!
Keeping coal companies from using the Pacific Northwest, which includes Oregon and Washington to move their coal. They use rail to move open cars of coal, spreading coal dust over hundreds of communities spreading pollution as they go, not to mention the end result of countries like China burning coal and making our atmosphere more and more contaminated.

  • Santa Susana Field Lab CAG community advisory group
There has not been a general meeting for the Santa Susana Field Lab nuclear and chemical investigation and cleanup, slated for 2017 as completion date based on the signed AOCs between the State and Responsible Parties Boeing, NASA, and DOE. We need accountability and accurate information so the public can be educated on these important decisions moving forward. We want to be involved in how the cleanup progresses so that the current environment and sensitive species are protected as well as the people living below the site. The idea is not to reinvent the process, but to convert the existing PPG to a properly formed CAG with the community driven mechanism for agenda issues with all relevant regulators and responsible parties at the table participating, so transparency and accurate education of the issues can be achieved for all.

  • Plastic Restriction
The issue crosses party lines. Used plastic containers, when exposed to sunlight release poison into our groundwater. There are alternatives to plastic that would create as many jobs as those lost. If we started getting plastic out of the environment, wouldn't that be a positive legacy for which this era might be remembered?

  • Help fund a better future, a future in the stars
My petition is about getting more funding for NASA. For a long time our countries space program was a force to be reckoned with, we were the first to land on the moon. But now, our agencies have started lacking because of a lack of funding. This can be changed with additional government funding, and we can make it happen.
