New Hampshire superdelegates: Honor the will of the voters!Superdelegates are a group of Democratic elected officials and other prominent party leaders who are free to vote for whomever they want, independent of the will of the voters. That means that despite Bernie Sanders winning New Hampshire by a margin of over 20 percentage points, superdelegates from the state could override the will of the voters.18,879 of 20,000 SignaturesCreated by Chris Liquori

Superdelegates: Don't Deny DemocracyBernie Sanders is on a roll among actual voters, with a blowout victory in New Hampshire (22 points!) and a virtual tie in Iowa. When Bernie is on the ballot - he can win. But in a close race, Superdelegates can snatch that victory away. Only by pushing back against this possibility can we ensure that the candidate WE vote for becomes the nominee. Organized by Emilijana Ulaj and Rob Akleh of Ready to Fight, Joshua Grossman of Progressive Kick, and Jenni Siri of Women for Bernie. Superdelegates: Let the voters decideBernie won New Hampshire. And by a hair, Hillary won Iowa. In other words, there's a long Democratic primary ahead, possibly fought all the way to the convention. But there's a problem: There are 712 superdelegates—made up of Democratic elected officials and other prominent party leaders—who have the power to tip the scales, potentially shifting the vote at the convention to whomever they choose. This process is undemocratic and fundamentally unfair to Democratic primary voters. In 2008, when the primary looked like it could boil down to superdelegates, MoveOn launched a similar campaign calling on the superdelegates to hold off making their decisions until the voters had spoken. Now, as we face a similarly contested primary, it's critical that we speak out again for the integrity of our voting process. Democracy only works when the votes of the people—not the decision of a small number of elites—are what determines the outcome of elections.191,349 of 200,000 SignaturesCreated by Ilya Sheyman

Fix Our DemocracyAs a resident of New York (City & State), I am personally affected by the current condition of our democracy. The issue of money in politics and the corporate strangle on our democracy is an intolerable crisis, but also an incredible opportunity. Oregon Senate Candidates: take the #fixdemocracy pledge! As a native Oregonian, I am affected by the State of our democracy. Massive corporations have hijacked our electorate and have built an insidious machine of influence and corruption. Oregon Senate candidates have the ability to voice support for campaign finance reforms, to reject corporate influence, and to take back control of our democracy.122 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Sean Ollerton

Fix Democracy in VirginiaI'm a local Virginia resident who is concerned about the amount of fossil fuel money in Virginia politics. I believe we should be skeptical of off-shore drilling in the Atlantic, and in order to have our Representatives truly represent the Virginian people, they cannot be taking money from fossil fuel companies.25 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Cora Karamitsos

Challenge to Members of U. S. Congress: Join the Fight Against Government CorruptionThis issue should concern all Americans. Getting moneyed interests out of our election process is the only way that we will ever be able to have fair elections. When elections are bought, it hurts everyone except those who bought them and those who sold them. We must fight back.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Denise Kelly

Abolish The Emergency Management Law in MichiganEmergency Management is an unjust law in Michigan. In 2012 Michigan voters rejected Public Act 4 (Michigan Proposal 1) by a percentage of 53% No votes and 47% Yes votes. A few months later the Michigan Republican House and Senate passed a new law, Public Act 436 in its place. My city , Pontiac, MI has been stripped of its assets: Fire, Water, Police, Department of Public Works and Lighting. Currently the city retirees pensions are being targeted. This law should be abolished. This is the same law that brought the water crisis to Flint, Michigan.99 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Renee Beckley

Got Nothin To Hide Hillary? #ReleaseTheTranscriptsThe American people have already bailed out Wall Street once, the last thing we need is a President who is unwilling or unable to stand up to the powerful financial industry. THEREFORE, in the interests of transparency and accountability, we call on Hillary Clinton to immediately release the full transcripts of her paid speeches to Wall Street banks from 2013 to 2015. Until she does so, the American people simply cannot trust her word alone that she will get tough with very Banks that have paid her so much money. --------- LETTER TO Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton You have pledged to take on the Wall Street Banks who wrecked our economy, and yet you've taken huge speaking fees from the very same institutions. Please prove to the American people that you tell the bankers the same thing you say on a debate stage: immediately release the transcripts of your paid speeches to Wall Street.132 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Nicole Kahle
