• Zero tolerance for non-hunting guns
We have been misled about the meaning of the right to bear arms. We have been bullied by the gun lobby. We have worked unsuccessfully for minor changes in gun laws. It is time to say Enough.

Greg Gluchowski is a member of the Cincinnati business community, CEO of The Hillman Group, and board member of Milacron Corp (NYSE: MCRN). His company volunteers in Mt. Healthy City Schools. He is an alum of Purdue University and IPFW. As members of these communities, and the greater public, we urge Greg to end his association with a company that profits from making and selling the AR-15 style rifles used in countless mass shootings across America!

  • Victoria Roberts: More School Security
I am starting this petition for the sake of student safety. School security is okay. It is not good at all. Security needs to be improved on many levels. More money needs to be provided so that security can be upped in any way possible.

  • Gun Control & Assault Weapons Ban
All elections are decided by the moderate 1/3 of the population. However, by definition, moderates are not idealogues. We tend to vote for candidates based upon multiple issues. That is why we rarely get what we want. We are divided and conquered. It's time to take a play out of the right wing conservative playbook. Their supporters tend to focus on a few issues, such as gun rights and right to life. How else could a pedophile come so close to becoming the US senator from Alalbama. Simple- he was pro life. We need to take the same one issue stance if we want to end the madness. Enough is enough. Pledge to support and vote for only candidates who are pro gun control and pro assault weapons ban. Pledge to go out and vote against any candidate who is not, regardless of the office they are running for. Regardless of the importance of the office. Whether it be on a national, state, or local level. Ignore ads that attack pro Gun Control or pro Assault Weapons Ban candidates. The ads are probably funded by the NRA directly or indirectly anyway. Become a one issue voter. Bring politics back to the center where it belongs. The other issues will follow as the united strength of the center grows. Take away the political firepower of the NRA and gun manufacturers, lest we leave future generations wondering, "What the hell where they thinking of?!" It worked in Australia. It will work here.

  • Lock them Up
Machines designed to kill people are readily available in many places. Our gun safety laws are not protecting us. We need to lock up assault weapons in an armory and restrict their use.

  • Safeguard Our Future
Besides focusing on changing gun laws, we need to focus on Safety. We need to have School Safety Guards and metal detectors. We need our schools to be a safe place for our children and staff to be able to learn, teach, and grow across America. No one should be worried about going to school because someone may shoot up the place. In the process, it will also create jobs. As for myself, I am a parent but also I am one of many who help keep NY schools safe. Please sign and together we can get things done.
