  • A Full Pardon for Marissa Alexander
Equal justice under the law! Marissa Alexander killed no one and got 20 years. A battered wife and mother, she fired a warning shot to scare off her abusive husband, and gets 20 years in prison. Meanwhile, George Zimmerman murders Trayvon Martin and was set free! This is NOT equal justice! Stand your ground didn't work for Marissa or Trayvon. Why? They are black!

  • Repeal the "Stand Your Ground Law" in Missouri
This pettion is repeal the Stand your ground law. I think its unfair that you can go looking for trouble in Missouri, with a gun and you can find that trouble, and you can act upon that trouble in a way that leaves a person dead, and none of it guarantees that you will be convicted of a crime.

  • Demand that Florida repeal its “stand your ground” law
A Florida jury has found George Zimmerman not guilty in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin—a 17-year-old African-American whose only crime was walking through a white neighborhood wearing a hoodie. The jury did not even find him guilty of manslaughter. While it did not play a role in this case, we will see more such injustices in the future as long as Florida has a "stand your ground" law on the books. Sign our petition to the Florida Legislature, demanding they repeal their “stand your ground” law immediately.

  • Repeal the Second Amendment
The second amendment is not being enforced as was it's intention-- an organized militia". It was never intended to allow individual gun ownership. It was written over 200 years ago when a rifle could fire one bullet and took several minutes to reload.
