• Stop Brutal Excessive Force from Correction Officers on Rikers Island
My son was brutally beaten by correction officers and two captains they beat my son about his head so bad that these officers were trying to kill him, his eyes were shut, head swollen, mouth busted open arm in a sling, when I saw him. This should not happen under any circumstances. These officers are paid highly to take care of inmates, not brutalize them.

  • Restore Hemp History Curriculas
My ancestors held over three dozen hemp mills, in Upper Bucks County alone. Many hundreds of hemp mills existed throughout Pennsylvania, until the word, "marahuana*" was coined to prohibit it. *This is the spelling used by the Bucks County Court, in my 20 year old conviction for possession of a smoking pipe with trace Cannabis. I attended Police Academy Training, and even there, no mention of hemp history is in the curricula - only shrill lies about "marihuana".

  • Demand Sensible Gun Laws
Our legislators continue to play a deadly game with our lives and the lives of our children and grandchildren. Irresponsible gun policies have cost the lives of too many in our state and this nation.

  • Change laws for death in moving violation.
On Oct. 9, 2011, a crash on U.S. 12, east of Bell Road in Niles, MI. claimed the lives of 1-year-old Devin Stone; his father, Curtis Stone, 50, the driver of the family's car; the child's mother, Stacey Garza, 35; and the baby's grandmother, Kathleen Marks, 57. Cecilia Cheney, 44, received 90 days in jail and was ordered to pay $800 in fines and costs based on her earlier no-contest plea to four counts of moving violation causing death. This accident was the result of Mrs. Cheney taking her eyes off the road. She looked down at her purse on the passenger's seat, which indicated she also may have reached to grab the purse or retrieve something. She was also driving 67 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. This woman took four innocent lives all the result of her carelessness and all she received was an $800.00 fine and 90 days in jail.......what do these innocent families now get to suffer through without their loved ones? These laws need to be changed for Michigan, this isn't justice at all!!!!!!

  • Scrap a Gun
There is an obvious surfeit of guns in America.I propose the formation of an organization funded by donations to buy and recycle excess inventory found at pawn stores, gun shows, and from private parties.

  • Legalize cannabis to fund Pennsylvania prison budget
The half billion in expenses Pennsylvania owes is mostly to pensioners. Legalization of cannabis will offset this cost and provide sustained revenue beyond the retirement of the Baby Boomers. It will reduce crime, reduce overall health expenses, and stimulate community development, especially in rural areas.

  • "Mayor Gallo: Stop Racial profiling and Excessive sentencing of non-violent affenders"
The community of Ulster County has been corrupted by Dirty Cops with illegal tactics and racial profiling, as well as a Judgde who has been sentenceing minorities with non-violent offences excessively. We as the people believe that this action taken place is for personal reasons. " My goal is to reach 1,000,000 years", is the words that Judge Donald A. Williams has spoken. This iss wrong an injust.

  • 50,000 Responsible NJ Gun Owners Opposed to What is Being 'Framed' As A Gun Violence Prevention P...
The new legislation proposed by the New Jersey Assembly Democrats in regards to Gun Violence Prevention is truly an assault on gun owners rights. What is framed as a gun violence prevention package is poorly crafted, loaded with unintended consequences, and in many places in conflict with existing law. The proposed bills will only make law abiding gun owners into criminals overnight. None of these bills have anything to do with preventing crime. The bills in this package are unworkable and put people at risk of incarceration for owning items that have been owned for decades by responsible people. Every person who has signed this petition does not support the package of bills. We need 50,000 responsible gun owners who oppose this rash of bills aimed at our rights and freedoms as Americans, and NJ residents. The Assemblyman said he did not have a problem with gun owners who follow the law. His actions and support of this package have shown us otherwise.

The 2nd amendment is critical to a free society. Even the FBI has agreed that more gun control will accomplish nothing.

  • 2 Year Old Raped In Athens, Georgia
We now know that this child was NOT 3 years old when she was raped, but 2 years old. The adopted mother of the 2 year old rape victim was denied an incident report as the Athens-Clarke County stated that there was NOT one; however, years later she has obtained a copy of the report which proves that this child was AT LEAST 2 years old when raped. No arrests have been made to date. Please assist this child by signing the petition, forwarding the petition and reviewing the case at the following link: http://www.wedemandjustice.blogspot.com
