• Enhance hit and run driver laws
According to research studies and legislative laws, an individual who injures and/or kills another individual with an automobile or any other vehicle can only recieve a maximum of a four year sentence. The current laws pertaining to hit and run drivers should be enhanced to prison time vs. probation. Any individual who leaves the scene of a hit and run accident involving another human person, whether driver is under the influence or not, should recieve an enhanced sentence.

  • LEGALIZING UP TO 25 GRAMS OR LESS OF CANNABIS
reduced the penalty for possessing 25 grams or less of marijuana to a non-criminal violation carrying a fine of no more than $100 for first-time offenders -- as long as the marijuana was in private possession and not in public view. I have seen some cities legalize marijuana up to an extent in order to save money since USA is in debt it does sound like a good idea. The human costs to each defendant charged with a misdemeanor are serious," said Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr., supporting Cuomo's proposal. "The simple and fair change proposed by Gov. Cuomo will help us redirect significant resources to the most violent criminals and serious crime problems, and, frankly, it is the right thing to do." is by Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr and it is true..

  • Gun Control in Oregon
Noticed that anyone can buy a real gun that could kill people from anyone and anywhere as long as the seller is not a regulated dealer like Big 5, BiMart, and so forth. My great concern is that not even an ID is required at garage, estate sales and by individuals. I see a real loophole here, where a control of fire arms distribution is lost.
