I am currently on state parole in Pennsylvania, I have applied for hundreds, if not over a thousand jobs. As soon as my background check comes back, or the subject is brought up during the interview, the position I'm applying for disappears. I, as well as other ex-felons, who have served their time and learned from their past deserve a fair shot at gainful employment.

Elder abuse is the CRIME OF THE 21ST CENTURY. A senior is abused every five seconds in the United States. We are elder abuse and senior financial exploitation victims. My wife is facing the rejection of her transplated liver due to her exposure to toxic mold. Our former landlord stop the delivery of her anti-rejection medication and refused to fix a leaky moldy sink.This was done by our former landlord in retaliation to our filing a complaint about the false advertising, imposter nurse, and criminal activity at the senior living facility. We have been fighting this slumlord for three years for ourselves and for our other 46 abused and financially exploited seniors. We are fighting for the rights of elders in memory of my 94-year old aunt, Catherine Reinertson, who died abused, financially exploited, and a broken women as a result of the criminal activites of our former senior living facility. This petition is to address that unwarranted dog shootings in Warren County, McMinnville, Tenn are not being investigated. These crimes were Class E Felonies and the sheriff refuses to investigate or make an arrest. It is a Sheriff's responsibility to uphold Tennessee state law and not recklessly abandon his oath of office. His behavior has jeopardized the safety of the citizens he is supposed to protect.

We have to protect our constitutional right to bear arms with a solution to the proliferation of mass murders, i.e., Virginia Tech, Sen. Giffords' incident in Arizona, and most recently in Colorado, to name a few. Stop corruption make a new law that requires all law enforcement officers to take a mandatory drug test every month this will help stop corruption and save the tax payer millions of dollars...the America people need this now..!!!

DEATH PENALTY

The laws favor the department of corrections being able to take an inmate's bail and use it for whatever they deem appropriate. Most of the time the bail is not posted by the inmate, but by someone outside. This should be against the law. If someone posts bail, they should receive their money back once the inmate shows up for the hearing or sentencing as the bail insures.

The petition that i am starting is somewhat like the Sex Offender Registry, but for domestic violence. Through the years i have seen many battered women even wives and children dying by the hands of their love ones. Not to be one sided women included, if one lives to get away i think the next person should be notified of the danger they are getting involved in because many people are ashamed to tell what was going on that's why we would have this registry.
