When we shop we have to look at vicious tabloid headlines that ignite and fan the flames of hatred and division in our country. Full-color headlines scream: HOT-HEAD HILLARY BEAT BILL UNCONSCIOUS! MUSLIM SPIES INSIDE OBAMA'S CIA!  55 DOUBLE AGENTS EXPOSED! OUT OF CONTROL HILLARY CLINTON HOOKED ON DRUGS! OBAMA HID GAY LIFESTYLE TO BE PRESIDENT!  MARRIAGE TO MICHELLE IS A SHAM! IMPEACH OBAMA!  *  LIES * COVER-UP & ABUSE OF POWER!  GIVING AWAY U.S. NUCLEAR SECRETS TO OUR ENEMIES! ANTI-SEMITE HILLARY COZIES UP TO TERRORISTS! HILLARY CLINTON CAUGHT WITH LESBIAN LOVERS ON UNSECURED PHONES! HILLARY'S ISIS CONNECTION:  HER BLOOD-MONEY DEALS! CAUGHT ON VIDEO!  HILLARY CLINTON'S SATANIC INNER CIRCLE RUTHLESS MICHELLE IS A MONSTER! INSIDE MICHELLE'S HOUSE OF HORRORS! It is blatantly obvious how socially irresponsible these sordid tabloids are.  We are tired of turning a blind eye as they spew malicious lies, vicious innuendo, fear-mongering and hatred. These stores would not sell garbage for people to eat. Why sell garbage to feed people's minds? Since our dollars support the stores that are selling these fake-news papers, we are compelled to ask them to fulfill their social responsibility to our communities and stop selling these scurrilous tabloids.

At 12:01pm, the moment Donald Trump is sworn in as President of the United States, the Commanding General of the D.C. National Guard--Maj. General Errol R. Schwartz, will be relieved of his command. There is no excuse for this action. Presidential appointees are not all required to resign at the moment of transition, especially not ones in the midst of critical duties. This is spiteful, unnecessary, uninformed, and wrong.

So President Obama doesn't get too bored after he leaves office.

Donald Trump says we, the American people, aren't interested in his tax returns. I think most Americans are interested. The potential conflict of interest with other countries alone should be enough to make this disclosure mandatory before taking office. We, the people, have a right to see his tax returns. If he has nothing to hide, prove it to the people of this country and release your tax records.

I am an American citizen extremely concerned by the nature of President-elect Trump's stance on not releasing his tax returns. His decision to not put his business holdings into a blind trust while he is in office is also of grave concern. Release your tax returns now! What are you hiding??

I just watched the press conference and heard the President Elect state that the public does not care about his tax records. I do care, as do many others in the country as evident by repeated requests since the campaign. I am concerned both about the failure to release the tax returns, AND the false claim about how the public feels. I want to let Donald Trump and his Administration know that we are listening and watching and when they mis-speak for us, we WILL call them on it.

I am starting this petition because I am concerned about my country's future, and the divide state we are in. United we stand, Divided we fall. I don't understand what the President-Elects motives, plans, policies, decisions, or comments are. I feel like I have to lower my level of intellect just to listen to him. I don't even know if he actually has a plan. He seems to be putting the wrong people in the wrong positions and it's starting to look like a power and money grab election. He hardly seems professional and gets amusement out of being an instigator. I'm just worried, that's all.

As members of the public, we are supportive of the Sawyer Free Public Library's mission and resources it provides the community. The tear-down and expansion project is being presented far too close to grant deadlines for any meaningful community engagement in the process. Topics of community concern range from razing the current building, architectural design considerations, range of services, content of resources relevant to the community, surrounding expansion options and future use of the Thomas Saunders House property. Both the SFL and the Cape Ann Museum buildings were designed by Architect Don Monell with careful planning to design them in mirroring architectural style to compliment each other and grace the prominent City Hall building. We are requesting the Gloucester Lyceum and SFPL Board take action to renovate the current library building. A community forum needs to be scheduled to earnestly engage the public in this important process of upgrading the library's infrastructure, services and resources.

As a season ticket holder, this is disappointing to the on-field product of the program I am paying for each game. Rivals like Wisconsin and Iowa have no problem finding success, yet when the U of M has a successful season, it fires its coach. You had a leader who embraces what Minnesota is about, but you fired him.
