• Massachusetts superdelegates: Let voters decide!
Keep democracy alive in the Democratic party! All Democratic party superdelegates should pledge to support the winner of the popular vote for the Democratic nomination. If supporters of either candidate walk away from this process believing that their votes do not count, then the democratic process is lost, and so is the hope for a win in November. Let the voters decide!

  • Tell Pennsylvania Super Delegates to let voters decide who they pledge to
People think politicians do not care about the people. Super delegates give the people more reason to believe that. By ignoring the will of the voters, the voters in return will feel betrayed.

  • Nebraska superdelegates: Support the will of the voters at the Democratic party convention!
This year's race for the Democratic presidential nomination is closer than ever. So close, in fact, that the nomination could be decided by a few individuals whose "superdelegate" vote is disproportionately influential compared to the average citizen's. There are 712 superdelegates total (five of whom are from Nebraska), compared with 4,051 voter-elected delegates. To get a sense of the disproportionate power of a superdelegate, think of it this way: These 712 individual superdelegates get 712 convention votes (thus one convention vote per person). By contrast, 712 regular citizens have the equivalent of about 0.08 convention votes (giving one voter less than 1/1000 of the power of a superdelegate). In a nation where every citizen is supposed to have an equal say in the election process, this seems to go completely against how elections are meant to be run. Superdelegates, with great power comes great responsibility. Please don't abuse this power to swing the vote away from the people's choice. Pledge to support the candidate who gets the most pledged delegate votes, no matter who that may be.

  • Indiana Superdelegates: Let voters decide!
If we're going to call this country a democratic republic, let's start acting like we mean it! There's no good reason why the citizen voters of Indiana shouldn't be able to decide between the candidates which they want to represent them.

  • Florida superdelegates: Let the voters decide!
As a resident of the state of Florida, ground zero for the 2000 Republican election vote scandal, I am deeply concerned that the Florida superdelegates will rubber-stamp a primary candidate that has not gotten the most pledged delegates. Florida superdelegates must ensure a democratic process, just as the name of the party who will decide the nominee for president indicates. Florida superdelegates: Commit to voting for the candidate with the most pledged delegates at the Democratic National Convention in July.

  • Florida Superdelegates: Support the will of the voters at the Democratic Party convention
I honestly feel if the super delegates are shown to be voting against the will of the voters it will cause real damage to the Democratic Party. We are a party with a strong activist and grassroots tradition and should that base feel misrepresented it will have a terrifying negative effect on the general elections all the way down the ticket.

  • Connecticut Superdelegates: Let voters decide!
Representation is just that: when state "representatives" don't move with the will of the people, there is no representation. Whoever wins the pledged delegate vote should get the superdelegate's support, no whoever they personally prefer.

  • Pennsylvania superdelegates: Let voters decide!
I am a parent and a Marine veteran of Afghanistan, and I care deeply about the way in which U.S. elections work for "We the People." In my extensive travels to foreign countries, I've emphasized that it's the voters who decide elections in the U.S. I want to make sure that this primary doesn't prove me wrong.

  • Montana Super Delegates: Let the Voters Decide the Nominee
As a historian familiar with how money has undermined elections in the state of Montana in the past, I urge all Montanans, including our “Super Delegates,” to stand up for real democracy, and not just for the party elites and moneyed interests.

  • Michigan Superdelegates: Let the Voters Decide!
The voters have access to all the information they need to make an educated decision on who to vote for. Superdelegates should support the voters and wait to pledge support to candidates until the voters have expressed their views!

  • Washington state unpledged delegates: Let voters decide!
Simply put, the superdelegate system is extremely undemocratic and probably should be abolished. Giving a group of Democratic party loyalists and politicians a "super vote" gives elites more power than the average voter.
