Creating awareness to the community about how the effects of being happy with yourself can benefit a person physically, emotionally, and mentally. It will stop society's views on the human body. Staying positive in any situation is key! Men and Women should each be happy with the body they have and love every inch of it. In 2015 students from around the world participated in the 'Science of Happiness' experiment created by the Greater Good of Science Club. Throughout the 10 weeks as the students were involved in more activities that made them feel good, their outlook on themselves also changed. They felt more confident to take more risks, try new things, and become leaders in their community spreading awareness of how important happiness is. It is important for young boys and girls to accept themselves in who they are so that they can begin breaking down walls and creating successful paths to the new generation. Be happy with your eyes, nose, tummy, heart, smile, and laugh. You are you and you are great!

As a person of color, I'm not always startled by racism. The two Jimmy John's commercials that I saw back-to-back did shock me , though. They both play on stereotypes about Hispanics and Asians that are openly racist.

We should ban the Confederate flag from being displayed on school grounds outside of the context of the teaching curriculum because it is a symbol of hate. There has been escalating problem of racial tension at my school, AMES high school. Students and teachers on both sides of this issue are getting increasingly upset, and I am concerned for the well-being of my peers.

Poverty and Homelessness are growing issues in our country, and Joy Junction wants to raise awareness (target) of the unacceptability of homelessness and hunger, and encourage people to make a difference by volunteering at their favorite charity etc., or maybe giving out a food card. Even a smile or a hand shake would be great!

We want the youth voices to be heard in our San Francisco community, noticed, and cared about. There isn't a space for this type of free speech anymore. SFPD has expressed their support for a program like this, as well as dedication to creating change in the community and our lives. Reinstating a youth forum program would be very beneficial to teenagers all over San Francisco, helping to create better relationships between the community and the police force.

We've disagreed on things before—some of them big. But this is one we can agree on: At a time when we need to unify our country, Trump is dividing us. If Carlos Lopez-Cantera and David Jolly do not declare unequivocally that they will not vote for Donald Trump, then they are in support of Donald Trump’s campaign and candidacy. It is unacceptable for politicians like Carlos Lopez-Cantera and David Jolly to remain silent on whether they support one of the most xenophobic presidential candidates in our country’s history. Carlos Lopez-Cantera and David Jolly need to stop playing political games take a position on Donald Trump’s candidacy for President!

I have been working on fighting against the devastation caused by the existence of the four beer stores in Whiteclay since 2009, and allegations of many illegalities (including sex trafficking) are rampant among the native people. Alcohol is wreaking havoc on the lives of the tribal people: addiction, fetal alcohol syndrome, domestic violence. I am a Nebraskan and feel compelled to campaign against this situation.

Roadside Memorials around the Tucson area are considered by many to be sacred sites, worthy of protection. They stand as as a reminder that life is precious and driving with caution saves lives. Don't let them be removed from our landscape. Let's spend the money being used to remove these sacred sites on improving the quality of the roads themselves-

This is a foolish use of GMO technology, and yet another example of how high-minded GMO rhetoric falls flat in light of more common vanity applications. Now, the product is headed to the FDA for review. As the agency dedicated to protecting citizens from potentially unhealthy or even dangerous products, the FDA has a responsibility to fully test these mushrooms before they go to market. Tell the FDA: This genetically-modified mushroom should not be approved for sale until the health and ecological impacts have been fully tested.
