Genetically engineered (GE) foods have been brought to market without any long term safety studies. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration does not require or conduct safety studies on GE foods, instead relying on voluntary safety consultations and minimal research done by the companies who create GE foods. Labeling GE foods is necessary to allow consumers to make informed decisions about the food they buy and consume, as well as for tracking any potential adverse effects or allergies.

Hillary Clinton wants to be president of the United States. She has claimed she will be tough on Wall Street, yet she has accepted nearly $3 million in speaking fees from Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street firms. When a reporter asked Mrs. Clinton if she would release the transcripts of her speeches to Goldman Sachs, Mrs. Clinton laughed. This is no laughing matter. What does Wall Street expect from a president Hillary Clinton? What has Mrs. Clinton promised Wall Street? We should know. Demand Hillary Clinton release all the transcripts of her speeches to Wall Street.

This petition is asking Hillary Clinton to make clear her stance on reparations for the descendants of slaves, and explain how her position on reparations compliments, or runs contrary to her receiving PAC money from the private prison-for-profit industry lobby.

Before a single snow flake fell, D.C. officials announced that they wouldn't enforce the law requiring property owners to shovel sidewalks and keep them free of snow. But now that sidewalks have become dangerous and impassable, the police are threatening to ticket anyone who walks in the streets. Councilmember Jack Evans even wrote that "if you can't travel on sidewalks, then stay inside." It's absurd to force carless D.C. residents to choose between staying inside for weeks and risking their lives on icy sidewalks.

Hillary claims that she will reform Wall Street if she wins but does not say what she told them in their speeches. To fight corruption and the taking over of our government by monied interests, we need transparency when possible as to what is promised to them by politicians behind closed doors.

We don't find ourselves in agreement with Mitt Romney very often, but we agree with Romney's call for all of the presidential candidates to release their tax returns. In a year when the leading GOP candidate is a billionaire, and other candidates have shady finances, it is important to know this information before the first votes are cast. The businessman in October said he would release his tax returns when “we find out the true story on Hillary [Clinton's] emails." At a rally over the weekend, Trump bragged that he paid "as little as possible" in taxes, because that's the "American way" and he's not an idiot"

We the residents of Del Rio Ranch are against the building of a Family Dollar store on the northeast corner of El Mirage and Lower Buckeye Rd. We do not want a business built right in front of our homes. We do not want increased unwanted traffic within our streets, increased risk of theft/and or burglary to our homes and to new houses being built.
