I would like Rails and Trails running between Remsen Lake Placid corridor so people that like trails can have trail runs, walk and bike on and those people like me would like to have upgraded and have ski trains in the winter time and etc. There is no reason why we can't have both rails and trails because we can.

Today, thanks to the Endangered Species Act, wolves are finally beginning to recover in wild places and are once again a vital part of America’s natural heritage. Yet the Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) has no plans to restore wolves to substantial areas of wilderness where they once lived. And, even more disturbing, FWS no longer wants to protect wolves as an endangered species. We have a responsibility to use the best available science to leave behind a legacy of protecting all endangered species for our children and future generations. We are gravely concerned that actions by state and federal agencies aim to undermine wolf recovery.

According to Lyon Township proposal AP-14-45b, AT&T Wireless Tower would like Special Land Use for the property located on the northwest corner of 10 Mile and Milford Road (Shoppes of Lyon). Public hearing to consider a special land use request to allow a proposed 140’ monopole tower; discussion and possible action. We need to band together and STOP this from being erected near our homes! It will be detrimental to our home/property value, potentially hurting the increasing value of our NEW homes. And not to mention It will be a 140 foot tall unappealing tower that will be clearly visible from everywhere. Please sign the petition, the Final Hearing is on November 5th, 2014 at the Lyon Township hall. If you can make the meeting, That would be even better.

Voter turn out is embarrassingly low. Often election results do not reflect the general consensus. People are led to think their vote does not count, so they don't vote and are unhappy with the outcome. It is everyone's civic duty to vote. Many countries have compulsory voting. It's time we introduce it here before our elections are 100% bought/sold.

We need to vote to protect public education at all levels in Illinois.

Don't allow Ms. Thomas abuse any more people by letting her rent. I am a mother of two teenage boys protesting selective service and the antiquated practice of conscription. My children do not belong to the state. It is my responsibility to protect them from harm and all threats to their health and well being.
