Traffic cameras and other 'secret' cameras should be banned as unconstitutional under the Fourth Amendment! Law enforcement is treating them like a cash cow. Went to traffic school with 40to45 others. At $224 per person, they make about $10,000 per class and will call you the next day for a donation. These cameras make my driving less safe as my nerves are affected!

As there is a lack of study concerning the health effects of GMO food products such as sweet corn produced by biotech giant Monsanto. Consumers need to be aware of food products which have been genetically modified for full disclosure purposes. Similar to a surgeon general's warning on various products the statement should read something such as: "GMO - This product has been genetically modified, a lack of study makes it impossible to know whether there are associated health risks."

Mediacom cable is a cable company service that offers cable t.v., as well as internet and phone service. All of the services are always on the fritz and never working yet their rates keep increasing, and their technicians and those at the top of the company simply do not care. They are bleeding their customers dry and taking advantage of areas like Western Kentucky for example where the choice for ISP's is slim to none. I live in Western Kentucky and its either AT&T or Mediacom for the most part. This petition is to urge Mediacom to take the nescessary steps in order to give customers their moneys worth instead of taking us for granted.

Will you help me by asking Congress to require truly independent studies of the effects of GMO on animals and humans? Will you ask them to include independent studies that have already been done in Europe and resulted in banning of many GMO seeds, plants, and products?

To the PA Voter ID Law! This law discriminates against the poor and the displaced! Stop hurting people who are already hurting! Pennsylvania's Secretary of the Commonwealth Carole Aichele is in charge of the state's new voter ID law and she just admitted, "I don't know what the law says." Another local official testified in court that she was "anticipating a mess" on Election Day because of the new law.

Due to errors made by the Maine justice system with regard to an illegal co-adoption, Eve's son Evan has been taken away from her illegally and unjustly. If we can designate money toward presidential campaigns by checking a box on our income tax returns, then why can't we do the same for our space program? The success of the Mars Curiosity rover mission stands as one of the finest technical achievements ever attempted by man. We need not outsource our national greatness.

Our post offices are being sold! The purpose of the US Postal Service, enshrined in our Constitution, is to provide a public service. A misguided Congress, in 1971, passed the Postal Reorganization Act to require the Postal Service to make a profit. Now Congress's 2006 Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act is driving the USPS into bankruptcy, requiring it to pay $5.5 billion a year for employee benefits 75 years into the future, and then putting the downtown post offices' prime real estate up for sale to corporate investors. Our post offices anchor the centers of towns across the country and provide Americans, both individuals and businesses, with convenient, efficient, affordable mailing services. Our government once honored its citizen taxpayers by building handsome public buildings for our use. It's time to halt Congress's outrageous attack on the US Postal Service and sale of public buildings that our tax dollars built and that belong to the people of the USA.

Religious groups are granted the right to have the freedom to practice their beliefs without government persecution and are exempt from paying taxes. However when they influence federal or state policy they are extending their belief system on all citizens of the country or that state. This act obliterates the lines between the separation of church and state, and we are all personally affected by this religious overreach. Lately, religions have become more vocal and claiming they are the ones losing their freedoms but that is not true. What is happening is they are lobbying for the federal and state governments to enact their beliefs on all citizens regardless of their personal beliefs or values. This is a theocracy and has no place in the USA. Tell them to stop! BECAUSE WE ARE LOOSING OUR FREEDOMS AS CITIZENS.
