Mothers Against Assault WeaponsWhere is there a need for an assault weapon by a non military individual? I can't think of an answer, can you? Who do you know that would purposefully put this kind of weapon into the hands of a mentally unstable individual?214 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Yolanda Gorman

Ammunition ControlSince we cannot control the guns without causing NRA backlash to all the politicians who are controlled by them, maybe we can control the ammunition. Gun running in Pennsylvania is a real problem. Also in Delaware where the guns for the Colorado tragedy came from. My Pennsylvania state has become more like Alabama. Our governor is a really mean man who has cut most the funding for handicapped and under privileged people. If you could tie him to the Sandusky incident when he was Attorney General then we could impeach him out of office. PLEASE2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Johanna Manning

Remove all Photo Radar from Prescott ValleyPhoto Radar has been imposed on Prescott Valley, Arizona residents and visitors since 2006. The photo radar is outsourced to an Australian company called Redflex Traffic Systems; a significant amount of money collected from photo-radar citations ends up being sent to this Australian company. Photo radar is a drain on the local economy, and an unfriendly message to local residents and visitors to our home town. Town officials state that photo radar improves safety. Yet many residents note erratic driving behavior of some drivers near photo radar installations: sudden speeding up or sudden slowing down, even placing hands in front of the face while driving near photo radar cameras to avoid identification. Is this safer? Could photo radar in fact be causing as many problems as it solves? In some cities and locations of Maricopa County around Phoenix, Arizona, photo radar has now been removed for a number of reasons. It is time for Prescott Valley to follow suit. Tell Prescott Valley's elected officials to end all photo radar and support the local economy rather than outsource local wealth to Australia.256 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Levi Mason

Put the Sports Arena in the Mt. Baker neighborhood!I don't believe that the people behind the arena truly have the people or city's best interest at heart with their proposition to put yet another sports facility in the Sodo district. The decision that the people don't have a right to vote on whether or not to use public money for it really irks me when things like the seawall seem like lesser priorities that can be put at risk by a vote instead of the city saying "look this is critical, we need to use the money on this no matter what."1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by A. "Stop Supporting Rupert Murdoch"The death of a child is devastating to parents and siblings in its own right. For Murdoch owned tabloids to profit by using a cell phone message that gave parents in England false hope that their daughter was still alive is immoral. Let us not continue to support someone who falsely claimed ignorance of the fact that this was accepted corporate culture.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Brian Jones

Change the Format of our Presidential DebatesThe current debate format doesn't allow for either candidate to fully explain the significance of their position. Under the current format the candidates only spend a few minutes at best on any particular topic. For those that are highly educated on the topic, this is usually plenty of time. But for those of us who might be some what ignorant about the subject, the current format only leads to more confusion, with each candidate trying give quick media soundbites. If each debate focused on one issue it would be harder for candidates to mislead and easier for citizens to make a truly educated vote.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Christian Nagel

King Salmon extinction by Fish and GameOur Alaskan King Salmon spawing return has been on a steady decline for the last 25 years. STATEWIDE our State of Alaska Dept of Fishery Managers allowed this to happen. They have managed for this decline by managing for sockeye salmon returns and ignoring the by-catch of king salmon. To stop the failure, Alaska needs NEW managers on the Dept of Fish!63 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bruce Morgan
