Our very lives depend on muzzling this individual. If Mr. Trump suddenly disappeared from all media, as he well should have long before this crisis, we might have a shot at our lives returning to some semblance of normalcy.

Like people across the U.S., I have a loved one who is incarcerated in federal prison. We miss him. And with the spread of COVID-19, we worry. Whatever view you have of prisons, no one should be sentenced to die from COVID-19. Our loved one, like other inmates, can't practice COVID-19 safety protocols, such as social distancing, regular hand washing, and rigorous hygiene. He shares a cell that is 7 X 8 feet, with bunk bed and lockers taking up much of that space. In his unit, 130 people share 6 showers, 4 toilets, 4 urinals, and 9 bathroom sinks. When prisoners' risk of exposure increases, so do the risks for staff, who come and go from the prison, and the wider community who interacts with those staff. Financial pressures also increase for families, prisons, the healthcare system, and the economy at large. Because of these credible risks, state and county facilities, as well as correctional institutions in other countries, are reducing their prison populations. It's time for the U.S. Bureau of Prisons to do the same. Please tell our U.S. Senators and Representatives to direct the BOP to adopt comprehensive safety protocols immediately. The protocols should release inmates who have limited time remaining on their sentences and have a minimum Recidivism Risk Level assessment; if need be, they could be placed on home confinement via GPS monitoring and could shelter in place. Bringing inmates, like our loved one, home right now would reduce the risks to everyone. It would also bring our family together during this stressful time. In times like these, we need each other. Will you sign this petition and help us all?

Compounds like THC and CBD play a role in helping the brain to build new neurons and then protect them from neurodegenerative diseases or injuries caused by stroke, concussions or head trauma.  It will also give a great revenue for the state.

We should be just as important to protect. We are out in public and in buildings with many other workers and trade to a point where social distancing is nearly impossible. Also the shortage of PPE is another fact. Whatever is available, companies should keep workers home and donate what they have available to hospitals, etc. If we want to stop the spread, only hospitals, food, and supply stores should remain active at this critical time. Do this and minimize the spread even more. We have families to go home to and we shouldn't be forced to work unless it benefits hospitals, food, or supply stores.

If the health care providers get sick the capacity to deliver medical care collapses and many thousands will die. IMMEDIATE release of supplies is required as hospitals are already facing large numbers of infected patients and are running out of protective equipment. Staff exposures now means loss of health care capacity later when then the patient numbers will be even higher. Releasing equipment after medical care providers have been exposed is too late; then the future loss of medical care providers will be imminent.

The public has the right to trust its public servants are serving the public and not themselves. Senator Burr used non-public information to better his personal financial interests and he shared that information with a few wealthy elites while he told the general public not to worry. I am running to represent North Carolina's 11th Congressional District because restoring integrity and accountability in Washington is vital to pull our democracy out of the nosedive it's in now. I pledge that if I am elected, I will put my assets in a true blind trust and I challenge other candidates from all parties to take the same pledge. If elected, I will introduce legislation that requires every member of Congress, the President and the Vice President to put their assets into blind trusts. That will give meaning to the phrase "government ethics" rather than making it a punchline for a bad joke.

We are currently experiencing a worldwide crisis leaving a huge percent of the workforce out of work. Small businesses are suffering and facing bankruptcy. For the majority, their ability to bring in money has been forcefully removed. A large part of our population have no options to bring in compensation during this time of forced isolation. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Now is the time for Governor Newsom to follow his wise ‘stay at home’ order with a wise ‘90 day mortgage relief’ order.

Spain and its beautiful autonomous region, Catalonia, have many friends throughout the world who are deeply disturbed by the ongoing struggles and now, the heartbreaking medical crisis in Catalonia that is impacting its society and its economy. Many of us look forward to returning to Spain and contributing to its economy and the economy of its unique regions. But Catalonia must first be allowed to address its medical needs and to impose an immediate lock down to stop the spread of coronavirus infection. We ask for your urgent action so that Catalonia can stem the impact of this humanitarian crisis quickly and preserve its vital economy. Thank you for your consideration of this global appeal.

In order to get this initiative on the ballot for Fall 2020, NEWR needs to gather just over 3,300 signatures from Boulder city residents. Until the COVID-19 crisis struck, we were well on our way to doing so, having gathered close to 2,000 signatures. But, out of concern for public health and safety, we have decided to suspend canvassing for the time being. While pausing our canvassing effort is the right decision, it means we are not likely to hit our signature goal and that we must find another way to get on the ballot. Fortunately, in these unprecedented times, Boulder's City Council has indicated that if we can supply ample evidence of public support, they may place our initiative on the ballot themselves.

The industry has always put its short-term profits over the health of our climate, environment and wildlife. Now that it's facing a reckoning, it's desperate for Congress — and taxpayers — to keep it afloat. Giving billions to coal, oil and gas companies while ordinary Americans are suffering diverts critical time and resources from the very real public-health crisis on hand.

We are bread winners for our families who have worked steadily throughout our lives, who paid into unemployment insurance and have been actively looking for jobs, networking, and using every resource available to us. With companies throughout New Jersey and all around the United States slowing down or putting on hold hiring processes because of severe financial impact of critical and necessary measures put in place to slow the spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus, we have become financially crippled, with no possible sources of income coming to us anytime soon. Though the federal or state may eventually provide relief, the immediate access to unemployment funds and benefits (such as the approval for training that was in process before the virus and now on hold, along with regular unemployment payments) is necessary for our own and our family’s well-being. We want to be included in relief efforts currently being drafted. We must support veterans who have given their lives to this country and the workers who want to work, but are unable to get jobs due to this virus. It is important to New Jersey’s economy to support unemployed workers immediately. Tell Governor Phil Murphy to publicly support the proposal and sign it as part of the COVID-19 Emergency Relief.

This is important to allow people to stay afloat as we’re forced to socially distance ad not work during the Coronavirus pandemic.
