A plan for a dog run next to the playground at the north end of Blackwell park is being pushed through without feedback from the community. Many parents are concerned that children actively playing around dogs poses a serious safety hazard. Furthermore, many children have dog phobias and their emotional, as well as physical safety, should count for something.

This petition is important so that the NYC agencies and all those involved, keep their promises made to the communities they represent, especially when the funding was to enhance the community well being.

For those of us who use Goldsby to get to our homes, adding commercial space this far north on Goldsby would create increased traffic and make the already unsafe intersection of 98 and Goldsby even more dangerous.

This petition is being initiated to encourage and promote the stoppage of the roundabout construction on 12 Street and Menaul. We already have a roundabout by the 4-H Park (Menaul/Indian School area). This roundabout has only created traffic nightmares and backups during rush hour times. It has created a dangerous blockage of a path for emergency medical response teams during that time, and it has created danger for pedestrians and bicyclists due to the fact that drivers do not yield at the entrance (and instead rush through the circle). This circle has also cost the city money due to the directional arrows being knocked down by some drivers. Please sign this petition to help us change the minds of the development of the roundabout.

Our neighborhood has become dangerous to walk through as people exceedingly drive over the speed limit on our roads. I can’t walk my baby in a stroller because many drivers speed and aren’t paying attention. We also have people who aren’t residents constantly cutting through the neighborhood. Since they don’t live here, they don't understand or respect the need for the safety of our children. Please help our neighborhood become safe!

In Wasatch County, Utah on US Highway 40 at mile marker 40 there is a 3-directional intersection. There have been several accidents here but none more devastating to myself then the horrific car accident that took place on Saturday, July 13th, 2019, which claimed the life of my son. Just before this point, there is a slight Bend in the road as well as a slight incline. For the sake and safety of others, I am petitioning that a caution sign stating intersection ahead please slow down along with some flashing lights be implemented in an attempt to help acknowledge as well as make the countless Travelers aware of the upcoming intersection. Maybe have these already been in place my son would still be here with me today. So in honor of my son, I am respectfully petitioning that these simple warning indicators be secured and utilized.
